Excellent lighting
I bought these for my gaming area, and theyâve made an excellent addition. The colors are bright and vibrant, and the aluminum chassis gives them a more premium feel. I have other Govee products, so I already had the app. The Y lights paired effortlessly, and the app was seamless with the guided installation/calibration process. For the most partâ¦If you already have the app, make sure itâs updated before you begin installation and calibration. Mine had to update after the installation process, and it left my Y lights in limbo. I had to restart the calibration process so the app knew which light was where; this didnât work at all until I realized I have to ârebuildâ my configuration in the exact order I had done originally.Other than that, the app is decent with a range of pre-programmed settings and effects, and the lights themselves look great!

Most definitely worth it
This is the very first Govee product I have purchased. Because it exceeded my expectations, I ended up getting more of other Govee products. It is very well made, it is not too light nor too heavy and it doesn’t look cheap like plastic. At 100%, the brightness is more than enough to light up the entire room. I have had these lights for almost a year now, and they are still sticking to the wall with no signs of falling off. There are many different colors, modes, and scenes you could choose from. The app is user-friendly and it is easy to make your own custom color/mode. The connectivity is great, I can connect it to my phone and alexa with no issues. It looks so much better in person than in pictures/videos.

Govee Y Lights = Great!
I have a few Govee light products and I appreciate how they can all be controlled via the app. I just use Bluetooth even though thereâs more functionality via WiFi. I just want easy to turn on and use ambient lights that look great and work well. One app to rule them all, itâs easy to live with Govee lights.The Y lights are the best Govee product I have, which is saying something because theyâre all great. The Y lights are just a little more high end looking and the lighting effects are gorgeous. Definitely a âwhoa cool lightsâ reaction to them.Do you like ambient gaming lights that are customizable and awesome? Then these are great, get them, youâll be happy you did. Even the packaging is cool. 100% worth it when on sale. A little pricey at retail price. Iâm super stoked with these!

These lights are insanely beautiful
The quality of these lights is out of this world! The app makes these better too it has soooooo many different patterns. I got it on discount for about $120 for Amazon prime and it was WORTH IT I would still pay retail price knowing how good they are now. Definitely WORTH IT and makes me happy while working

Govee does it again
Amazing lights. Couldn’t be happier, and I came in with high expectations given that I must already have about 15 govee lights around the house.The lights are extremely well packaged, they feel relatively sturdy, though that’s not really an issue since they’ll be on your wall. Unboxing was super easy, and so was setup.The app picked up the lights immediately. It walks you through everything you need to do, and the box comes with seven cardboard templates you can use to test out various configurations on your wall before you stick the real thing on. The app has you build out your configuration in it as you go. The lights even came with a mini bubble level to help make sure your first piece is placed straight.The result is incredible and has an extremely premium look, even when off. When on, expect the traditional govee light controls with a decent amount of custom control. They’re pretty bright too. The video doesn’t do them justice. They look much better irl.Update: Knocking off one star because 1) it’s not possible to order individual Y segments to expand lighting and 2) the included adhesives are WAY too strong and tore paint off my walls when repositioning my lights, even when pulling on the little tab as intended to loosen the strips. Going to set em back up with some 3M velcro strips that are much wall-friendlier.

Got this on BF sale and it was worth every penny. Excellent quality, easy to install and incredible lighting modes. I did an inside 90 and recommend starting installation with those 2 Y Lights first. Also much easier with connectors already snapped in each Y Light. BE CAREFUL with adhesion…these puppies are sticky!Also LOVED the nifty mini level included…typical Govee thoughtful add-in…and much appreciated.Five stars but I find full retain price of $229 a bit steep for just 7 lights.That said, if you can snag it for deep discount…buy it…you won’t regret it.

I’m really happy with this product. It’s a great addition to the other govee products I use.Setup and instructions are very good and recommend reviewing prior to install. I purchased on black Friday sale and was totally worth it. I’ll be on lookout for if they go on sale again.The only criticism I have is I wish there was an option to buy an additional 2-3 pieces though without having to buy a complete set.
