Great quality
I really like these. The picture shows smaller stairs. My stairs are standard size and it doesn’t stretch all the way across but that’s really not what I wanted. Anyway. They work really great on my wooden stairs to protect them and they stay put. They also look very nice. Much better than carpet.

Purchase the Adhesive Tape
The quality of the carpet is good, but they do move a little so I purchased the adhesive tape to adhere them to stairs which was a good move. Soft on the feet and comfortable. You can either purchase a 7 pack or a 15 pack. The reason I gave this review 4 stars and not 5 was I have 16 steps and asked the seller if I can purchase 1 additional because I have 16 steps. I would have gladly paid a price. After 2 emails not even a hello. Very disappointed in that. Not going to spend thirty dollars for 7 pieces when I only need 1.

Soft & Easy to install
These stay put! I did not need the sticky pieces they gave underneath. They stay on easy! I do have two black furry dogs so you do see the fur against the beige but I just vaccum more 🙂

Attractive but get dirty fast and slip around
We wanted to try these out as we have brand new hardwood stairs and weâre worried we might take a spill since theyâre pretty slippery. We donât want to harm the finish so donât want anything adhesive. These looked nice enough, though no where near as attractive as the stairs themselves. But as other reviewers have noted,, they do tend to slip around and push back against the back or the stair. Ideally you want them closer to the edge for the best chance to prevent a fall. Also being a light color they were beginning to show dirt; however, I did notice just brushing them off with my hand did help a bit with that so hopefully theyâd vacuum up easy. Never had a chance to throw them in the wash. Did not notice a distinct rubber smell as some others have mentioned, which was a relief. Anyways, we ended up returning as it was driving me a bit crazy how much they moved around. We might just try and learn to walk more carefully up and down the stairs instead of using a tread.

Great step savers
After ordering 3 other sets of stairs treads ..finally got these .. and they are just what I wanted ..feel like these will last .. so far they are staying in place .. no glue or racks needed â¦. And looked like the pic for color. Others were either too light or way too thin .. these are great .

Do not stay in place as described
I purchased the step covers for multiple reasons. One was for my four-legged friends and the other was so that my partially disabled mother could safely go up and down a few sets of wooden stairs without slipping. Well, the pups seem to do well, but the mats are constantly moving out of place. My mother has managed to trip as one slid from beneath her. Luckily for me, I was standing in front of her making sure she was safe while coming down. Alternative, she is no longer able to go upstairs unless she is escorted even though there is stairwell handle in place. Reason for two stairs is because the color is as described and the product seems somewhat well made. Perhaps thicker grip will assist the slipping issue in the future. BTW: I purchased this item in anticipation of a move from one part of the country to another and wanted to make sure that I had all needed items ready to set up my our new home with specific safety features so mother would be safe. Thus, no return available since it is outside the return window.

Looks and feels amazing worth every penny, you will have to add on some adhesion likely though. But it’s a top quality product 100%

These are very nice stair treads. Good quality and look so much better than I thought they would. I bought them for my dog who is getting on and was having trouble on the hardwood stairs. I would have given 5 stars except they do not stay in place without tape. I was not surprised by this based on other reviews so I did attach them with double-sided carpet tape. I inquired at my local flooring store and they assured me that if I wanted to remove them at some point the carpet tape would not ruin my hardwood. Fingers crossed on that. The colour is great and does not show dirt. I just vacuum to clean. So far no spills but when that happens they will have to be spot cleaned in place.
