Day 1: I’m comparing this to an Emerge brand chair I got from Staples for $170 on sale maybe 5 years ago. It’s still okay but the seat padding is getting flat and my bottom and legs are getting more muscular from the gym and I need a wider seat without intense bolstering. The seat on this one is better but only because it’s new. I do like the padded arm rest over the rubber the Emerge has, however the Emerge has 4D adjustable arm rests which is a more important feature, though I can live without it if the chair has a rocking feature which this chair does not. Unfortunately I didn’t realize this before my purchase.The back on this is very stiff. Like a sheet of plywood. It has padding but it’s very very stiff. The bolstering is thinner, shallower and narrower and not a great match for my growing back-if you have lats stay away. It’s a 100% downgrade from my Emerge.The footrest. Eh. It’s too low and a little too short-I’m 5’8”. I’m not sold on this chair being the ideal replacement. I’m not sure I can return it so I’ll probably just sell it. Fortunately I got it on discount.It’s a reasonable chair for the discount I got ($107), however I’d recommend looking elsewhere. Especially at the full $150 price tag.I’m gonna be real: the people who rate this at 4+ stars…they don’t know what a good chair is. And good for them if this is an upgrade. I get that we’re all in different places. But I’m here to tell you: if you know a thing or two and have experienced truly good chairs, this one isn’t it.

Got this as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. I was nervous buying this as I am not a gamer so I wasn’t sure if this was a good brand or not, but he loved it! I sat in it myself and it is very soft and sturdy, and I love the footrest and recline option. I wasn’t there when he put it together but he said it was very easy, and didn’t take long!

This chair is so comfortable. As soon as I sat on it, my back felt so relaxed and supported. It is a very smooth texture, kind of velvety? It looks very nice in my office. This took me about an hour and a half to build. My building suggestions/comments if you buy this: Definitely listen to the instructions and do not tighten all screws in each step until you have them all placed in, that way nothing is tilted incorrectly. The hardest part for me was screwing in the back rest to the seat, as the back rest is heavy and I had to hold it and align it properly with one hand while turning the screws with the other. I suggest you ask someone to help you hold it for this part. I had to lay the chair on my bed to do this part by myself. Finally, the foot rest was tough to install, and required much patience. The metal bars did not go into the plastic parts easily. I’ve noticed that with time though the foot rest slides more smoothly. I have no complaints now that I am done, and I highly recommend this for the price. It seems sturdy and good quality. I also love that it has a lock feature for the back reclining.

This chair is built well. The back support is superb due to the cushion. I especially like the neck pillow that comes with it. As for its style, it does look good. I am not very particular about looks since I look for comfort. Another thing is this chair rolls well with no problem. The build is not complicated and the instructions are easy to understand.

There was some hardware issue with threading the bolts to the frame to chair. I’m assuming the fabric inside was getting in the way. Took me 30 minutes to get the screw to start. Good things, it seems sturdy. I’ve had it for 4 months now and other than the arms needed to be tightened many times, I think the fastener finally set into position. So keep your tools if you don’t have any Allen wrenches. Over a duration of sitting, your back does seem to hurt. But I have back issues anyways so I cannot say honestly it’s the chairs fault. Overall a decent chair. I’ve put many hours in it. The leg prop is not that sturdy it seems but I don’t use it. The great feature would be if the whole chair could tilt back not just the back. I’d give a 5 star plus. I think this would relieve some tension off your back and make a perfect chair. I give it a 4.

I’ve had this chair for one week, I’ve probably sat in it 20 times, and here are the takeaways: cheap materials, uncomfortable to sit in for more than a few minutes, one of the arm rests has already broken, and the chair doesn’t allow you to recline comfortably (you have to lock it into place in order to lean back).I wish I would have done more research prior to purchasing and gone with a better product, I wouldn’t recommend this product to anyone.
