Great for a healthier diet.
I’ve been trying to maintain a healthier diet and this Flavortown air fryer and steamer makes it easier to achieve that without having to eat flavorless foods. I can still make tasty dishes that are still healthy. Many different functions and it’s easy to use. I love that it has a built in steamer so that I can steam all kinds of different ingredients. Great product.

Works well, but build quality is mediocre
If you’re looking for a basic air fryer and you don’t have experience with them, this one will work well and it will show you how effective they are. Crispy reheated leftovers are now within reach! The versatile air fry + steam function is nice, but I honestly don’t use the steam function much. There are a bunch of preset options too, but I typically find it easier to program in the temperature and time manually based on package directions/recipes/etc.The downside to this air fryer is that the build quality is mediocre. Specifically, the fryer drawer doesn’t slide in easily and often gets stuck while going on. This is one of the most important build aspects, and it was done poorly.

Made of quality materials with good fit and finish
As the title states, this air fryer is made of quality materials with good fit and finish. It performs better than my old Power XL air fryer and has more functionality and modes with the basket capacity being about the same. It is offered at a decent price point compared to others on the market. It excels at proving perfect baked chicken, tater tots, and pork chops as well as warming up leftovers.

Excellent air fryer/steamer Guy Fieri
For me your facts were suggests that the steaming feature will lock in moisture while the air fryer feature crisps up the outside. This is true as long as you don’t have a really big and fat piece of meat.If you are cooking a larger piece of meat, dial down the temperature and let it slowly cook before finishing it off at a higher temperature for a crispy exterior.Pretty easy to use, there are lots of presets (10 in all), and timing features. This is from the Flavortown lineup of Guy Fieri and has a spacious 6.5 capacity.I have been using hair fryers since they were new technologies and this would works great. It has a front loading system and I like that the water reservoir holds a lot. I am not constantly refilling it for every cooking job.I am still trying to cook steak, french fries, and chicken wings and after a little experimentation to figure out what settings were the best for each of those jobs, I have a dependable system in place. You can find less expensive dryers that do similar jobs, but I can attest to the versatility of this system and the huge capacity I felt with the Guy Fieri name.

Versatile, simple to use, very effective
Versatile, simple to use, very effective:This product provides a couple different ways to cook up some food – firstly, the air fryer functionality works just as expected and is a great alternative to a toaster over and works to reheat food or cook it through. The steam function is very effective as well and useful when cooking vegetables since you don’t need a bunch of pots and pans that you’ll have to clean when you’re finished. The water tank is also sufficiently large, as advertised, and you realistically need to fill it up about once a week depending on how frequently you use the steam function. The steam + airfry function was something that really impressed me about this product, as it can keep meats very tender and sort of has a slow cooked taste to it since a lot of the moisture is retained but you still have the outer crisp from the fryer.Overall, this is a great product and I would recommend.

Design seems like an afterthought
So this air frying seems like it was made for someone that has never used and air frying (and does not want to). First off, it has a seemingly nice touch screen in the front with a lot of presets. None of these presets can be clicked on (despite other areas being touch screen). These presents are greyed out depending on what you are doing (do you want to air fry vegetables, well too bad, you can only steam fry them). What if you want to follow the air fry instructions on the new bag of frozen fries you bought (again too bad, you can not preheat this air frying). You can go in and select something and then change the settings (though again no preheating). I do like the steam chamber is easy to remove if you are using those functions, but overall if you want an air frying that has cool steam functions too, probably steer clear of this one. If you have never used an air fryer before and you just want a bunch of presents, this will likely work for you.

Not ready for prime time
Mine came with some splash marks on the outside. Also, one of the ball bearings, held out by a spring to help retain it, was jammed, so I really had to force it in and out, damaging the tray a little bit. I ended up getting a hammer and hammering it down, and now it works. You really shouldn’t have to do that with an appliance right out of the box. Clearly, this thing is not made to high standards and it should be an embarrassment to Guy Fieri. I guess he’s just selling his name to make some extra money. Haven’t used the steam function yet as it seems a little gimmicky, and I can’t think of anything that I want to steam that I wouldn’t just do on the stove. If I do end up doing something like that and have something interesting to share, I will come on here and update my review. For the first couple of uses, you are supposed to run this thing for a while to get that factory oil off the heating element or something like that, but I was getting a light burning plastic smell for a long time. I don’t really like that, and it doesn’t make me want to eat food that comes out of it. I certainly wouldn’t pay over $100 for this thing. I got a slightly larger and higher quality one at Target on Black Friday for like $35.
