I used to think Hamilton Beach was a sub-par cheap’O lame brand that created junky appliances. WRONG! This coffee maker is fantastic, modern, sleek, and O M F G it brews a FANTASTIC pot of bold coffee. So easy to clean. Love the removable water container in the back. The heating element is freaking HOT so if you love a PIPING HOT cup of coffee, even several hours AFTER brew time, you’ll love this coffee maker. Extremely happy with this purchase and WOW’ed by the build and quality. Love the time setting so I can crawl out of bed at 5am and BAM my hot AF coffee is ready. MAKES ME SO HAPPY. Thanks HB!!! You knocked this one out of the park. BRAVO!

Best coffee maker Iâve ever owned!
This is one well designed unit. Nice looking. Squared form factor makes it look less old fashioned more âtech-yâ,large amount of coffee, easy to program, easy to fill/empty filter, easy to fill & attach water reservoir (only have to lift it less than 1â to attach). A PERFECT NO DRIP LID on the pot. Great filter-very little âcrudâ on bottom when pouring last cup. Long âwarmingâ time-up to 4 hours. Three brew strengths.Only cons are: reservoir on back, BUT keeping the unit on a small tray allows me to slide the unit out and access the reservoir very easily.DO NOT use the guides on the filter for the amt of coffee to use. Youâll be up for a week!Love the 14cup size but a full pot is kind of heavy to lift.All said itâs still a full 5 star unit.

Quit brewing
I owned this coffee maker for three months. It worked fine. Brewed nice hot coffee and stayed warm. Then it stopped brewing hot anything. The plate would get warm and that was all. The display went blank and now it doesn’t do anything but take up cabinet space.

Good, butâ¦..
This checked so many boxes for me: up to 4 hour shut off, 14 cup carafe, temp control, brew strength. BUT there is a design flaw on the panel that runs all these features. If you barely touch the screen, times change, you can turn off features, change settings. It is very frustrating. The front panel needs to be set up so more of a delay touch will reset settings, like a press and hold type panel. Just my opinion, but when Iâm out of town my husband gets the travel coffee maker out and uses it as this one is to frustrating to use.

Easy to clean, makes out standing coffee, and has plenty of settings!
This Coffee Maker has checked every box for me. It is easy to use, easy to clean, and comes with a lot of great features! It includes a simple setting for 1-4 cups of coffee, which, if you are only making that amount, it brews perfectly. If you are making beyond that amount of coffee, there is the classic setting, which also makes perfect tasting coffee in greater amounts. I have yet to experiment with the robust and bold setting, so I cannot comment much on those. The included permanent coffee filter is high quality and easy to clean, and contains embedded measurement lines so you don’t have to worry so much about measuring correctly with any kinds of external cups or spoons. A light built into the coffee maker highlights the measurement engravings on the coffee filter making them easy to see.If you are like me, and hate having to put your whole coffee maker in the sink just to clean out a single part of it, then you will love that this coffee maker has almost all separable parts, including the water reservoir which is easy to detach, scrub clean, and then re-attach to the back of the coffee maker.This honestly checks all the boxes for me, and I am super satisfied and impressed by the quality delivered by this product. It cost more than entry-level makers, but offers a lot of the same features of much more expensive ones. If you are looking at this product, and your gut is telling you to buy it, then I say go with it. I sure did, and I didn’t regret it!

Terrific coffee maker!
I was hesitant to write the review after just one week of use, but itâs been consistently producing great coffee each morning and Iâm thrilled I bought it! The touch screen is very easy to use, there are 4 choices of brew to choose from, though weâve only tried bold and robust so far. I love the alarm and keep warm features. You can set it to keep the pot warm for up to 4 hours and at 3 different settings: low medium or high (medium keeps it plenty warm). Itâs a nice looking coffee maker and the best part for me is that it makes the exact amount of water poured in the reservoir (love that it is separate from machine for easy cleaning). Other coffee makers Iâve tried ended up with sometimes 1-2 cups less than what water was input. The lighted filter makes it easy to see how much coffee is in the filter (helps if you lose track of counting like I do). It was very important I have a 14 cup coffee maker and in full transparency I have only made between 8-10 cups, but I have faith, based on my experience this week, that it will continue making strong, hot coffee no matter the amount.

Doesnât stay hot
The warming plate just does not keep coffee hot very long as we had hoped. However, the unit itself is easy to use and makes very good coffee.

Great deal and makes good coffee
I wanted a 14 cup coffee maker (or bigger). I had a Cuisinaet before. Loved it. Lasted a long time, but finally died. This Hamilton Beach was much less expensive so it seemed worth trying. I LOVE it. Some people complained about the way the water container works. You remove it, fill it and put it back on (as opposed to filling the container from water in your pot – I always spilled it everywhere that way). And it makes very good coffee. Stays very hot. And as long as you donât pour too fast when the pot is completely full, no spillage when pouring. Have had it a few months now make at least a pot daily and no issues! Good deal!!
