Definitely worth the money. It has a beautiful finish (espresso), is sturdy, comfortable, and a beautiful piece of furniture. I bought a twin size Nectar mattress to put on it and I LOVE it.

We have a 3 and a 1/2 year old and an 8 month old. A few months ago we babysit a friend’s 4 year old Thursday-Sunday. This bed came Friday morning. I (a woman) assembled the bed by myself in time for our friend’s daughter to use it Friday night. Now our older son uses it and loves it. We ordered the twin size.

First, the instructions are terrible… I have assemble many, many KD pieces in my lifetime but these instructions were really bad.. as there are pieces that need to be place with the correct side a certain way, there was very little help in insuring that. Then, to top it off , pieces are lettered but we did not receive each lettered piece.. instead duplicates for the side legs were sent and one had to be turned around the opposite way it should have been to make it work..We were able to adapt and assemble with what we had and once we got it together after reversing side legs a couple of times, it is sturdy and looks good.If you have the patience to fight thru it, again it seems to be sturdy and we like how it looks……

Great value for the money and so very easy to assemble – I did it without assistance. It took me less than 30 minutes to completely assemble this bed. I did use a drill to for the screws on the mattress slats – it is very important – do not overtighten the screws. There needs to be a little play in it otherwise the slats will split once there is some weight on them. It says this in the instructions but wanted to point it out because it’s important. The bed looks great in our guest room/office and we think it was an excellent purchase.

We were looking for something like this to replace an old couch in the basement that the boys use to play video games. Also, one of their friends may sleep over and this frame is perfect. Sturdy and fairly simple to assemble. I love it!

It took two people to assemble this daybead, which maybe took us a couple of hours. I didn’t see any major defects whatsoever.My main concern is I am not sure if it’s sturdy enough to support a heavy mattress and the person sleeping on it. Is there a way to make it sturdier? It does say that the max wight it can support is 250 lbs. Good thing it’s for someone who is below 150 lbs. But still, I wish it was sturdier.
