This bed is great for transitioning your toddler out of their crib because the bottom bunk still feels cozy and like a little fort so he was excited to give his crib to his new baby sister! It’s nice because the bottom bunk is close to the floor so toddlers won’t fall off very far. We store stuffed animals up on top and use it as a reading space, my 4 year old likes to call it his spidey hideout and puts all of his spiderman plush dolls up there! It’s sturdy for the most part but makes creaky sounds if you grab onto the railing on the top bunk. My only wish is that there was more space between the bottom and top bunk since there’s still space between the roof and the ceiling, but it is spacious on the top level so it works! I wish it was a little sturdier but for the price it’s a great value. Assembly took 2 people a few hours but it wasn’t too bad. It looks great and exactly the look I was going for because I wanted a little playhouse up top!

My 4 year old son loves this bed! The only issue is that there is quite a drop from the top bunk mattress to the top of the slide. Even when the mattress is thinner the drop is enough to make my toddler son and niece hesitant. Overall, it’s a cute bed, I just hope he gets use out of the slide as it is one of the major reasons I purchased it.It took awhile to assemble, but I think that is to be expected. It’s a beautiful bed and sturdy too.
