This Day Bed was an excellent purchase, it’s sturdy, it’s beautiful, the trudled pulls out effortlessly, and can be placed in another part of the room for independent sleeping. The bed will support the weight of a grown man, both of my grown sons said the bed was comfortable and their bodies felt supported. One son slept on the bed and the other slept on the trundle section, while visiting for Thanksgiving. The bed looks like a really nice couch during the day, and will sit three adults comfortably. I’m very satisfied with this purchase, it took less than an hour to put together, but you will definitely need two people to put it together. The cover, pillows and mattresses were purchased separately.

This bed started out great. It looked good and my kid loved it but unfortunately it lasted a year almost to the day. We bought it last Christmas and I think it was the day after Christmas that the whole side broke. My son is not very rough on his things and just plopped down on his bed (all 90 pounds of him) and the wood snapped. I guess you get what you pay for But I expect to get a little more than a year out of it. I’d only recommend this for a small child and if they jump on the bed don’t even get it for them.😅

This took some time to get assembled. The directions were a little vague, but common sense prevailed. It’s sturdy and looks great. We have it in our cottage for guests.
