It arrived with the edges all bent and warped… but it improved once on a flat surface.
5-21-23 Update: After I placed it on the wood flooring in entrance hall, it flattened out nicely, and has been a good entrance rug. It’s soft, but sturdy. It catches the dirt, but can vacuum it easily with any vacuum. It looks good, for that style of mat. I’m happy with my purchase. It does what I need. I expect it to be easy to clean by taking it outside, hosing it down, letting it dry outside. Or else use a carpet cleaner, not a lot of carpet detergent, water warm not hot, gentle movement of cleaner’s brushes.(Older review. I later learned I was happy with the rug, per above update.) I’ve owned mats like this before. They always arrived flat and in new condition. They’ve lasted years, but once the vinyl that is around the edges gets bent or warped, it never returns to being flat again. Which means, this brand new mat arrived as if it was already used and old and not flat anywhere around the edges. It will need returned. Otherwise could have been a good mat. But it was rolled and folded inside a drawstring bag and put inside a box much too big, with no support for the edges. It was not packed well at all.

Love this rug
I love the big size! It looks so much richer outside the front door. This is my second rug. I had bought a red one last year and loved it so when we bought a new house the first thing I did was order another one – black this time. Colors are perfect, they are heavy and never blow away. The one from last year still looks brand new , color never faded.

Fits nicely at the front door
The size is just right for the entryway inside the front door. It collects all the things brought in from outdoors. It is easy to vacuum as its heavy enough not to get pulled up into the vacuum but feels good under the feet. The rubber backing keeps any water from getting to the floor.

If you want a carpet that sits flat on the ground, THIS IS NOT IT! It was folded upon arrival.. FOLDED! We laughed when we saw them.. I’m not a carpet guy by any means, but FOLDED? These will never sit totally flat on the ground.. The fibers in the carpet are permanently stretched and will never fix itself.. Move on to a different carpet…
