Excellent buy
For the price, these are really good. They get an A rating from me as a daily standard steak knife. They are a little light but that isn’t a flaw to me, The edge is wicked sharp and serrated for cutting meat with. They have a one-piece tang so they are much less likely to break in the midst of cutting something. Knives with a one-piece plastic handle usually have the tang halfway into the plastic handle and those will break unexpectedly; I’ve had that unpleasant experience. For a set of eight good knives, this is a top-shelf purchase.

SHARP, SHARP, SHARP … seem quite STURDY … at VERY REASONABLE COST !!!
We don’t devote major chunks of our budget to cookware, dinnerware, and eating utensils. Not our thing. But of the cutting devices and steak knives we’ve checked out and owned over 50 years, these combine the best best mix of sharpness, blade strength, handle comfort and real cutting efficiency at a reasonable cost I believe we’ve found to date.

Great knives for those who don’t know much about knife maintenance.
IF you don’t want to have to sharpen your small kitchen knives every couple months, these are for you. They’ll cut just about anything well, but not great. Probably not for your knife snobs but for everyday use and being low maintenance they’re pretty nice.

This set of knives are very good for the price, we have chosen to hand wash to preserve the handles although product says dishwasher safe. Warning: these knives are “razor” sharp and must be handles with extreme care ! You may want to choose another product if you have children or have concern with cuts.
