The hexagons appear larger in advertisement pictures than in real life, so make sure to measure the dimensions to get a real sense of the size. The hexagons are 3 inches deep whereas the flat shelves are 4 inches, so the shelves jut out even though some of the fake advertisement pictures show the shelves as being flush or less deep than the hexagons.
