Great little folding desk
Very convenient, small scale, fold out desk. Assembly takes some attention to the detail. Not every part might be a perfect fit. Might require a little bit of ingenuity, but everything eventually comes together very nicely. If the latch to hold the desk up does not align properly, I suggest to loosen up the screws, latch the mechanism and then gradually reattach each screw. Overall, very good product. There is a strong chemical smell when the pieces come out of the box. The smell was gone within three hours with a fan.

More sturdy than I expected
Desk was very easy to build and install. It definitely needs to be mounted to the wall but once it is, it does not move! Very good amount of storage too.

Wood is discolored around chalkboard.
The product is very cute. I love the style of it. It is a little on the small side, but usable… the only problem I have with it is that the white wood is discolored a yellowish color at the bottom of the chalk board… I did not realize that until after it was fully assembled. Now If I want a refund, I have to return it fully assembled, and re assemble a new one… so I’m a little disappointed.

It is really small and compact but itâs exactly what I needed! It fits everything I need to do my crafts and folds away when Iâm not using it. The chalkboard is pretty fun too! It was pretty easy to assemble but was a bit tedious. Definitely recommend 2 people but it could be done with just 1 person. Comes with anchors to keep it from tipping over as well.

Nice shelf, but grab a tape measure
I really like the form factor of this shelf, and it looks pretty slick when folded up. Great for a small space. I’m glad I got the sturdier full version rather than the half-size one that just mounts on the wall with no lower shelving. However, the front chalkboard panel doesn’t quite line up and is a little askew, even after adjusting the hinges. This makes it kind of wedge itself into the underside of the desk portion and you can’t get your fingers in there to dislodge it when folded. On mine it falls out easily enough when the latch is undone and you want to open the desk, but if you’re getting this for children you may want to attach a knob or other handle so it doesn’t fall open and whack them.The main thing is to check the size. I measured out the desk dimensions ahead of time and knew that it’d be enough space, but I didn’t check the actual shelf height. The model they have in the video has to be tiny because I’m not particularly tall and I’m eye level with the top of this. The shelves inside are also a little smaller than expected, but they’ll hold most office supplies pretty well. Assembly was about as difficult as you’d expect for something with moving parts and a bunch of shelves. If you really dislike assembling furniture then bully someone else into doing it for you, but there’s nothing particularly complex here.
