I wanted a placemat that could be used every day and be easy maintenance. I washed these with a load of similar colours. They were dried on the perma press setting. I laid them out flat.They did not need any ironing. I am very pleased and must admit that sometimes reviews can be misleading but I will vouch for the quality of these placemats,

I’m happy with this purchase.
As advertised. Nice size and look, and wash and dry great in the laundry (delicate cycle) with no wrinkles.

Still identical after 2 years of high usage!!
Writing this review TWO YEARS later. We use these at least 3 times every week. I don’t know how they made them look & feel so natural. We have the natural linen color and it actually looks and feels like linen. Whatever they are made with, it DOES NOT STAIN. We are a family that cooks with a high amount of food items that stain: Turmeric, cumin, chili, paprika, roasted meats, red wine. I have yet to find any food that stains these things. I just throw them in the washer on a normal cycle. No extra treatments. Then I tumble dry them. They do not need to be ironed. They come out of the tumble dryer as good as new. I don’t take care of these things at all, and yet they still look brand new after two years. Considering the level of abuse these things have endured, I don’t know how they STILL look like new. I am only writing this review because I searched in my purchase history to buy them for a friend. Highly recommend.

I bought 6 black and 4 yellow. The color is exactly as pictured on website. They arrived folded but it was easy to iron. It is thick and durable. These are the best placemat so far.

We really like our placemats! Great placemats! Sturdy, great color, love the design, EXCELLENT value!! Flexible and durable. These have lasted us a few months, but we haven't washed them yet. Easy to gently wipe off things. They are woven cloth and we are so pleased with this purchase.

Quality Linen
Great quality linen. They wash well too. Like any linen, you have to iron to get the crisp look again. The light gray was the perfect color to match my existing table runner.
