This bed is a project to assemble. Take your time and follow the directions. It took me about 5hrs to put togather i am referring to the king size. Only thing I don’t care for is the bottom shelf does not have anything at the back to prevent things from falling behind the head board. Once assembled I checked out it’s sturdy Ness and it did not budge which was great when the time came to unroll the new mattress into place.I have seen reviews about the bed starts squeaking after a few weeks, and I would advise people to check the tightness of all the connections from past experiences it is not uncommon for the screws to loosen some from vibration but once retightend once should be good.

Although I read reviews, I took a chance. Many parts to put together. However the disappointment is due the the trundle bed. The holes weren’t aligned so won’t work fold or now fit. To return means I have to take it all apart. Contacted customer service for the bed, hoping the parts could be replaced. My son is really disappointed. Will update

Great bed and easy to put together, however one of them the hole were drilled on the wrong side of the legs trundle. Also, there is a significant gap from the side below the shelf when pushed against the wall, we ended up purchasing a king header pillow wedge that fit perfectly, it has like a triangle from it that can help you while looking for one.
