Great for classrooms!
Like everyone who mentioned before, itâs a shocker when it arrives, but once you realize itâll look nice in a couple days, then you will be glad you bought it! If youâve ever gotten a shrink wrapped mattress before, then you know itâs going to look different after you open the package and give it time to expand to its intended form. The color is vibrant, and it lays down flat. It doesnât look like a rug that will curl after time. The reason why I say itâll be great rug for a classroom is because it looks like itâs easy to clean, it would be soft for kids (or anyone) to sit on, and lightweight enough to move around a room. It also looks like it would be great for a dorm room or first time apartment. Myself, I bought 2, and Iâm using them on my patio. Iâm going to recommend the rug to everyone who wants a nice rug but donât want to have to pay a lot for what they need it for.

Exceeded expectations
At the time, this was the best bang for the buck for a rug in this size. Iâve had it for about a month now and can attest that the rug looks good, feels good, and performs as a living room rug. It flattened out quite quickly. It was almost completely flat minutes after unpacking and now does not have any signs of creasing or folding at all. The pile is just right for the living room where you will need to clean it regularly from the foot traffic so you donât want it to high. The memory foam provides enough cushion to feel like you are standing on an actual rug and not a sheet of cloth. Very happy making this purchase!

Very soft
I like it, the size was correct and it looks really nice. I added the before and after dryer pic incase anyone else has the initial panic. The only thing I don’t like is it seems to move around too easily, even with the rubber grip.

The worst “rug” I have ever used and a safety hazard
Let me be clear, this is not a rug. This is practically a blanket. It is way too lightweight, stretchy, has zero rigidity and zero non-slip surface on the back. I am not exaggerating. I would literally be less disappointed if I purchased this expecting a blanket rather than a rug.It is absolutely impossible to vacuum (which is horrible because the “shag” attracts dirt and dog hair like nobody’s business). Because of its light weight and lack of rigidity, it just bunches up and stretches. My vacuum hit the edge and actually started SUCKING IT UP. In order to vacuum this, you need to have a person or heavy object holding all the sides down to stretch it out. If you plan to use a chair on it, like putting this under a desk, forget it. You cannot move the chair at all without it bunching up. Again, consider it a blanket and imagine vacuuming and moving a chair around on a blanket. That is 100% the experience with this rug.There is ZERO non-slip on the underside. If I stand on it, just shifting my weight causes it to slide around. Not only that, it stretches so your feet can actually drift apart. Once again, imagine a plush blanket on your floor. Imagine stepping on that. Imagine stepping while walking and how it will make you fall.The only reason I am keeping it is because my dog enjoys laying on it… so essentially, it is functioning as a blanket.

Very nice rug
I read the reviews prior to purchasing and this does come in a shrink type package. I ordered two of these the first one I opened and did not follow the instructions. followed the directions for the second one and opened the package let it plump up then took it out of package laid it flat for 24 hours and the wrinkles were gone and it looks nice under my dining room table. It is very soft and the color is lovely. The rug is very soft and just enough padding. It is not super thick but in my opinion perfect.The other one I will be using in my living area that I did not follow directions when opening does have an area with a bunch of wrinkles but I have laid it out and for 3 days now before putting in living area and they are disappearingThere was not a smell like some were writing about it was ever so faint and was gone within an hour. I am very happy I purchased and my advice is follow the directions when opening.For the price these are great and I would buy more if I have the need loved they arrived next day too.

Nice Quality and Feel, But Thin With Very Little Padding
This is an average, decent rug at an above average retail price. We purchased it with the current $13 off coupon and, with that discount, it brought the price down to what this quality of carpet should be offered for every day.When you hear the term “shag,” most folks envision a thick carpet with flowing fibers. That is not the case here. This is absolutely a low pile, thin carpet with very little padding. Indeed, when you get down to the last page of the description, you learn that the entire 5’x7′ carpet is less than 0.3 inches thick and weighs slightly less than 5 pounds. The backing is not truly “non-slip,” though it is advertised as such. The “non-stick” feature is actually a series of tiny bumps of a sort of rubberized substance. We tested the non-stick claim by placing the rug on a Travertine tile entryway and the rug could still slide in each directly while being walked on by a grown adult. Better than having nothing on the bottom, but still a long way from being fully non-slip.To be sure, it comes shrink-wrapped. You need to lay it out fully and flat and give it a day or two to have it return to original size and get rid of the folds. Our rug did not feature any smell that some other reviewers have mentioned.All in all, an ordinary and average quality area rug that should handle minimal traffic. Nothing fancy, just a functional rug at a decent price point (with the discount coupon).

Give it 2 days!
At first I was skeptical as it came in a tiny vacuum sealed package. Initially it is lumpy with creases. 2 days later it looks fabulous, very soft and silky feel. I also like the gripper padding on the backside, no need for additional pad.
