Directions on assembly lacking. Front picture a better guide
Very light. Easy to assemble using front picture as guide. Instructions are confusing. Spacious. Great for cubes. Very slight imperfections in paint. Hand tighten only. Split otherwise. Great value. Sturdy when fully assembled. Will purchase additional. Great for fabric or yarn display.

LOVE these!
Over the past year we have purchased 4 of these larger shelving units and we absolutely love them! They are beautiful, lightweight, REALLY easy to put together, durable, and hold tons of storage. Well worth the price tag!For other reviews mentioned over-tightening can cause it to crack, thatâs normal for everything you put together. This is bamboo, which is lightweight, just donât over-tighten. It does help to fasten to the wall, which they include a kit to do just that.I have put together all 4 by myself, each one took me approximately an hour to an hour and a half. Just put on some good music or a show and youâre done before you know it.With all the units we have purchased I have nothing bad to say, these are SO pretty! We will be buying more.

Looks fine, good shelving but a little flimsy as a unit.
Itâs fine, looks nice. Might be a little overpriced – look for sales. Couple of notes. First, like others mention, it is easy to tighten the hardware too tight and split the bamboo. I did this myself just using manual strength and the provided tool. Be careful if you decide to use your own tools. Second, it is possible to assemble this with just one person, as I was able to do it. Just assemble it horizontally (on the floor) rather than vertically. Assembly takes hours even if you donât mess anything up, so put on an audiobook or something. Third, pay attention to the screw holes and direction of the frame pieces as itâs easy to install frame pieces backwards. I managed to do this even though I was consciously trying not to based on another reviewerâs warning. (Gold star to me?). Fourth, it is tall, skinny, and light, which means it is not sturdy without counterbalance. If you have curious kids (human, feline, or canine), you will need to either use the provided wall mount or otherwise weigh down the bottom shelves.

Excellent shelf
The shelf was mostly easy to assemble. The wood is very light , so itâs easy to split when putting the screws in if youâre not paying attention. It looks beautiful. I did secure it to the wall because it feels like it could easily topple. But the attachments arenât super noticeable. I put them on the interior of the shelf instead of the exterior so you canât really see them with the books in the way. It looks great and it holds A LOT of books. Iâd say each shelf can hold between 15-20 softcover books depending on their width. And no more than 15 average width hardcover books.

Too flimsy
Got this shelf and at first I thought maybe the feet were off and it was unlevel by after spending an hour trying to get it level and even taking it apart and back together to make sure all the screws were tight, turns out the shelf is just flimsily built. Plenty of storage space but gotta be careful cause even a cat bumping into it can cause it to shake and stuff to fall off

This shelf takes up less space than the three traditional book cases I had. Itâs more appealing and it gave me more space to buy new books â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸! It took about 2 hours to put together and itâs very sturdy! Would recommend

Love love love this bookcase!
The look of this bookcase makes it the best value for the money. When you compare this one to the look of a straight-edged normal 3 or 4 shelved bookcase- thereâs no doubt of its value. There is more of an artistic flair to this one. Try it for yourself- you wont regret it.
