I finally purchased this modular sectional after WEEKS of looking online and at 5 different furniture stores.4 stars- 2 reasons its not 5a) Seat cushion firmness(this should soften with complete “bounce back” and a break in period according to product info)b) Quality of materials (TBD)(durability and ease of cleaning to be determined)It all arrived via FedEx, in good condition, and less than a week after ordering. It came in 2 shipments,1 day apart. Assembly is very simple (no tools required), but carrying the boxes and maneuvering the pieces during set up might require a helper. They aren’t terribly heavy, but can prove to be akward for one person. The cushions come vacuum packed and require some time to fully “bounce back”. It is attractive and functional. So far (2 days in) I am pleased overall. As with most reviews on this furniture, I did find the seats to be very firm, but the back cushions are softer. While prices I found varied from around $2,000 (which is what our total was on this furniture) to nearly $10,000 (for custom options at a store), none of the options we tried in the stores were particularly comfy, but most did have softer seats and some offered features like power recliner, headrests, media options, etc. None of those were of top importance to me. I needed a customizable option that would allow for more seating while fully using the space, and the built in storage was a big bonus. Surprisingly, it also made the room look larger.Research told me most living room furniture should last 7-10 yrs. If that’s true, I can buy this set 2 or 3x and still spend less than one custom set at a store or other online offerings. My opinion is, for the money, this was the right choice.
