Worth the money
I was a little hesitant at first based on the price and some of the reviews but this was a worthwhile purchase. The fabric is higher quality than I was expecting and the cushions are genuinely comfortable. The unboxing and install was easy enough for 2 people to knock out in an hour or so. My only complaints are the odor and that the screwdriver they provide does not fit the hardware included for the install but we weren’t expecting a complimentary screwdriver anyways. It wasn’t a bad smell, it was kind of “industrial” smelling up close for the first 24-48 hours but it is completely gone now. Overall, It looks nice and the storage and ease of moving it/installing it is great, especially for the price point. Very satisfied with this purchase.

Good, affordable sofa
The velvet holds up to a cat, though the deterioration is inevitable. Luckily, the velvet doesn’t look scratched so it hides it well. Velvet isn’t the most attractive to claws, so that helps a tiny bit. I bought for the storage and modularity, and mainly the price. The modularity unfortunately makes it less comfortable, and perhaps also the storage. It’s decently comfortable, but not for sleeping on. If you do want to sleep on it or extensively sit on it, I recommend a 2″ bed topper of your choice (I use latex). be sure to get a full size XL for full coverage of the seats. These dimensions worked for me, and it’s surprisingly hard to find 3 seater sofas with these dimensions.

This is the 2nd honbay I’ve ordered. Last year I purchased a similar honbay (1cube smaller) for my rental condo because it had storage and doubled as a full sized bed. Fast forward and this year I purchased this blue one for my home. It’s comfortable and beautiful and we simply love the modular capabilities and storage! Especially for the price! Would do it a third time if I had another home to put it in

You will pay for return packaging and shipping from USA to Canada.
Edit – Amazon stepped in and rejected the seller’s demand that I ship the couch to Canada. Return shipping is more expensive than the couch itself. I’m amazed that this seller is allowed to sell these couches WITHOUT stating in the description that return shipping to Canada is expected for all returns. This item is very easy to assemble but equivalently difficult to repackage. The quality, like I said, would be acceptable if this were a $200-$300 product. Thanks Amazon, for stepping in. I hope this seller will change the description to a more truthful one and transparently state the exact criteria for returns. I’m skeptical about the grand reviews and wonder if those people paid $1300 like me !!!! Hard pass !!!I paid total $1300 for 3 seats + 3 ottomans.The description is VERY disingenuous.First of all, one box had scores of black bugs on and in. I didn’t even bring that in. One seat has a little tear in a low visibility area. But that’s a fluke and not the seller’s fault at all.Secondly, the couch itself appears to be a cardboard toy. The arms don’t line up, the back is flimsy. There’s a loose wooden piece in in one backrest. I am a 5’6” woman at 170 lbs. My husband is 5’11 at 300 pounds. We look like we’re sitting on toddler’s furniture. You lean on an armrest and it pops a little.The seats are extremely stiff. There’s zero neck or head support. I have no idea how this couch got 2000 great reviews. I received it today and am returning it tomorrow. There are no free returns PLUS you package it yourself and ship it to Canada !!!!Listen, if you are on the fence… PLEASE pay $400 more and get a wayyyy better sectional someplace. You will be be frustrated and disappointed.I will update this review regarding the return process as soon as I get rid of this clown couch. Also, I am going to report the description and return process to Amazon. Ugggh.
