perfect for dorm room desk
my son has this bookshelf on his desk at college and it is perfect for his needs and looks great. Gives him lots of vertical storage space, especially since his desk is small. It seems to be very sturdy as well.

Pictures show the wood shelves as a dark wood. they are a light blond wood, like a pine or birch. Other than that it is a nice addition to my office / studio space

Great Solution for Space
This HUATOL Desktop Bookshelf for Computer Desk is a real nice solution for space. Made of wood and metal this Bookshelf is durable and sturdy. Easy to assemble and set up. Very decent size for a desk or where ever you want. Great for storing books, knick knacks, or whatever you need.I got this for my bedroom. I had to move back in with my Mother to help care for her and I had to sell my house and downsize a lot of things. In my bedroom it’s never big enough for everything, so I thought this would be a great way to store my books and special things I had in my house. I decided to try this on top of my dresser, since I don’t have room for a desk. This worked out great for me, looks good and I’m happy with it.The price is a little higher than I would expect this to be. I do recommend it though.

Love this, measure your desk before ordering.
I absolutely love this desk hutch! It is easy to put together, instructions are clear and the Allen wrench is included. I love the shelves and the lattice is super cute and useful for clipping things on for a trendy look. This would be perfect for dorm desks. Most importantly, measure your desk ahead of time to see if this hutch will work for your desk. It was too small for my older desk but worked well on a newer desk.

Once the bottom is anchored its perfect
I knew going in that this was a standing only shelving unit and that it wasn’t designed to clamp on to whatever surface you placed it on. At the time that was a plus to me because I planned to move this shelving unit around throughout the year. That said, be a bit more careful when ordering than I was and make sure the spaces you are hoping to put this shelf can actual accommodate it. Its quite a bit taller than I was expecting so I had to change up where I was using it.Overall, I think this unit is a great way to expand your desk’s storage. Assembly was not a challenge, just a bit time consuming to do by myself because I had to balance things a certain way to keep everything lined up while screwing the first few bars together.
