Great value, Great Fan
This is a great fan at a great price. Easy to install as a replacement for an existing fan. I added a wireless remote to it. It’s super quiet and keeps it breezy.

Purchased November of 2024
These fans are worth every penny! I elected to use the darker side of the fan blade, and it looks stunning. There is dark wood on the underside of the blades that is not displayed in the picture. They are easy to install, run quietly, and do not shake or move. They are excellent for any room in the house. Get some larger bulbs for the fan; the ones that come with the fan are small and do not put out much light. For the price, this is a steal. I purchased 4 of them to put in bedrooms and a loft area, and I am very pleased with the price and quality.

Good looks. Fan speed moderate.
The Swanson 52 inch New Bronze ceiling fan does have good looks. Not too fancy and not too basic. The pull chains operate smoothly and as intended. Installation is straight forward and does not require an electrician if you are replacing an existing ceiling fan. The 3 fan speeds are slower than I prefer. The high speed is about the same as the medium speed on another ceiling fan in the home. The slower speeds does make it a quiet fan to operate. On high there is low noise from the air being moved but not from the motor. On low there is a barely audible motor hum that some people may not hear, but it is so slow a fan speed you will not feel any breeze and is just barely enough to gently circulate the air.

Good USA made fan but can’t say much for the instruction sheet!
The quality of the fan is really great with no disappointments there. The instructions are minimal and not sequential. Got to think of what comes next. Be sure to check your ceiling fixture to be certain it is able to safely support a 10 pound fan. Mounting to Sheetrock would be scary. The fan runs totally quiet with no motor noise at all.

The globe is broke in two of the three i have bought over the last few months
I have rentals that I bought these for on three different occasions, two of the three that I have gotten over the last 12 months have arrived with the glass dome broken, you can contact Hunter fans and they will replace it but only if you buy the new one and not the refurbished one. It’s a good fan and I do like them but be ready to call Hunter company for a replacement dome.
