WOW…finally a thermos that does it’s job!
I try to bring lunch to the office daily. I have used Thermos brand and other brands and have never had what I would call a hot meal when lunch rolled around at noon. It was room temperature at best. This food jar keeps my soup or whatever I put in, STEAMING HOT from 7:30am when I leave the house until noon or later!!. On busier days, I don’t always get to eat until as late as 2:00 or 2:30 and I have to say the food was still hot! The design is lovely and the colors are amazing! I have the 25oz now but ordering the 32oz this week. I also use the 40oz Hydrapeak tumbler and it keeps my water icy cold all day!! Great products

25 oz size gives hot soup after 5 hours, IF you keep it upright (eg contents don’t touch lid)
I got the middle of the three sizes (25 oz) and measured the thermal time constant, starting with the thermos almost full of hot 89 C water. _IF_ you don’t fill completely full, AND you keep it upright so the contents do not contact the inside of the lid, then you will loose half the temperature difference in every 4hr 45min time period. So, if you start with boiling (100C = 212 F) and it sits at room temperature around 21 C = 70 F, then after 4 hr 45 minutes, you lose half the temperature difference or about 40 C, so the contents will end up at 60 C = 140 F which is considered a good serving temperature for hot soup. So if your soup was boiling at 7:15 am, it should be the right temp at noon time. The body of this flask is only 5 mm thick, but the vacuum insulation works well. By contrast, the wide lid is simply plastic with some foam inside and it does not insulate so well, so if you store this sideways or inverted you will lose heat faster. The seal is formed by a thin silicone gasket around the top rim of the lid. It sealed fine for me as new, with clean threads. If you get that surface gunked up, and/or don’t carefully thread on the lid and close it tightly, then no doubt it will leak. The smaller 18 oz size will not hold heat as long, while the larger 32 oz size can do better (IF it’s filled full).

Just okay. NOT 18oz!
Been on the hunt for a GOOD wide mouth thermos. Had a Swell but the lid became impossible to remove. This one is ALMOST there. Definitely wide mouth. Will have to see if the lid sticks. Why less than 5 stars:1. False advertising – NOT 18oz for food. As pictures show if you fill to the brim itâs 18. But to the full line so kid fits itâs less than 16oz.2. Does t hold temperature as well as Thermos brand or Swell. I believe part and parcel to the wide mouth design and having an all plastic lid.I am keeping it however as wide mouth is WIDE. But donât expect piping hot soup 4 hours later for lunch.

Very nice
I love this little container! Iâve used it for both hot and cold items. Iâve filled it with ice and taken it into my bedroom for ice water late at night and thereâs still some ice in it in the morning.Iâve used it to hold soup which it keeps hot for some time. A word of caution; donât screw the lid on too tight when putting hot items in it. I have and canât get the lid off until the contents have cooled down.Itâs durable and easy to clean. And it comes in pink!

Great customer service
First things first I did have a minor issue with the lid but the company replaced it free of charge a quickly!I received my jar and started using it to bring hot food to my oilfield job, at first my lid would over tighten and jump threads if I applied almost any force to closing it, After a short email back and forth with the warranty department which was very easy and quick they sent me a replacement lid and it’s been working great ever since. I pour beef stew straight out of the crockpot into this container every morning and it’s still plenty warm when I eat it about 6 hours later.

Barely Warm – Not Hot
I bought this container to take soup to work for lunch. After 6 hours my soup was just barely warm, not hot. I even tried pre-heating the container with boiling water prior to putting in the soup and it didnât make a difference. I love the color and have yet to experience any leaks but it performs about how youâd expect for what you pay.

These containers are seriously the best. They keep the food hot for many hours. I use boiling water to heat the metal up for some time first. Once heated it keeps the food hot. Would definitely recommend!
