Inspect before starting the leg screw process
I think this chair is massed produced. The connecting legs didn’t match up to the pre-drilled holes. I ordered 4 chairs. Two were defective in this department. OTHERWISE I would rate 5 stars. I LOVE the barstool!! The wood is beautiful and the chair is very sturdy once assembled. The seat is large enough for my 6ft. husband to sit comfortably. The return was easy, replacements came quickly and new ones were perfect. I plan on painting them and my kitchen update will be finished! I’ll send picture when that is completed.

Loved them but just one little thingâ¦
We loved these chairs. Easy to assemble. Sturdy. Perfect BUT legs just seem to be off a bit. The wobble side to side. We had to add something to the bottom of one leg to even out. I still need 2 more chairs I will be ordering next week. Hopefully those donât have the same issue.

Great for the island
Perfect height for our island. I didnât have any problems staining or finishing them. Two coats of stain and two coats of glossy top coat.

no assembly instructions included with the shipment
It’s very difficult to figure out which screws go where and the order of assembly when there are NO assembly instructions included in the order.

Very High Quality Chairs
I highly recommend these chairs. They are very solid. We purchased both the 24 inch and 29 inch chairs. I recommend to assemble the chairs first, before staining them. Then, partially disassemble them, and stain. Next, apply the first coat of verathane, or whichever sealer you are using, to the partially disassembled chair. Upon reassembly, I used a good quality wood glue on the ends of each of the 5 round dowel posts. I then reassembled, put the chairs on a level surface, made sure they didn’t rock around) and tightened all bolts and screws. Also, I wiped off any excess wood glue before it dried. After 24 hours, I did a finish sanding with 220 grit sandpaper, and wiped the surface with a tack cloth. Finally, I applied the final finish coat of verathane (or use whichever sealer you prefer) to the assembled chair. These chairs certainly look very professional, and they all match perfectly! I used the same number of stain coats on each, which was three.

Great Chairs!
We bought these for our kitchen bar. One of the chairs was slightly off balance but we were able to fix it with a grinder. They are solid and I love with the width of the chairs.

Nice stool
I originally wanted to stain them however they painted nicely. Easy to assemble, sturdy bar stool
