Perfect for where I needed it.
This shoe bench arrived fast and wasn’t hard to put together. The main concern was the getting the back to line up ok. I’m not a novice to putting together items but this I had to recruit my husband for since the backing wasn’t lining up correctly for me. He was able to get it fixed in no time. Make sure you have your cordless drill handy to make things go faster. I partly bought this due to the compact size for the area needed but also for the fact I could adjust the shelf and add my ankle boots. I was tired of tripping over shoes near my bedroom door but also was limited to space meaning a standard shoe rack wasn’t the best solution. The added bonus is the bench top so I can sit there to put on my shoes. It’s not overly padded but enough to give it a pop of color and style. I’d purchase this again if the need arose.

Functional, but cheap quality
Looks fine, and it’s functional.There was an extra hole drilled in the bottom which served no purpose. Two of the wood dowels broke off with very little pressure. When assembling the top the dowel on one side punched through the top. The back is only drilled for about half the screws that are supposed to secure it and not all of those lined up with the backing piece.Ultimately it’s okay for the price, but I wouldn’t buy another one.
