Easy to Assemble
I am so happy with this bookshelf! It was extremely easy to put together by myself. Definitely helped using a drill with the attachment included in the shipment. Very sturdy when flat against the wall but I have it pulled out a bit because I have a small fan and sound machine plugged in behind it. Color is beautiful. Perfect size, great value for what you pay for it.

Cute color, painted screws (to help blend in), Sturdy so Far
I am using mine as a bookshelf/display cabinet. It seems sturdy enough, especially for the look and price. I was glad they warned me ahead of time I would not be able to use those cute little legs on carpet. It is only up to approximately my abdomen but fairly wide and can hold a lot. I had no missing parts, and even had extras. All the tools were there to put it together. The only problem I had was I couldn’t find the place on the bottom support shelving as to wear I should put the dowel rods. I am unsure whether that was user error or manufacturing error but it seems to be standing fine, and I don’t expect a child to climb it anytime soon…

Surprisingly sturdy
OK, so first impression out of the box I thought that the boards for the bookcase looked too thin. I was really scared that they werenât going to be able to hold the weight of books that I own. I was debating on returning because I just didnât trust it while I was holding the boards in my hands. I decided to give it a shot anyway because I was tired of my books just sitting in moving boxes and taking up space. I purchased two of these bookcases because my room has sloping walls so a regular bookcase wouldnât have fit height wise.I was pleasantly surprised and was definitely proven wrong in this case. I like the fact that the bookcase came with screws to keep everything together instead of those tiny wood dowels. Usually when items come with the dowels I end up having to use wood glue in order to keep everything together so that it doesnât just fall apart, plus itâs messy and takes awhile to dry. So this was a definite positive it makes it seem a lot sturdier and doesnât look like itâll fall apart easily.The only thing that I used the wood dowels for was for the bottom baseboard which came with 2 of them. It also had screws on the sides to keep the baseboard together.Instructions are easy to understand and all the pieces are clearly labeled so just make sure you are paying attention to that. It comes with a little Allen wrench but unless you want to be building this the ENTIRE day Iâd suggest getting a drill. This can definitely be done by one person and a power tool. However, I would recommend two people do it since the boards might need to be held in place while you work on one side at a time. Seeing as I was by myself I just used the wall to stabilize it while I drilled away. I did not use the shelf board backing and left it open backed instead. Took off a star because it just felt too flimsy and pointless tbh and it looks nicer without.It took me a little over an hour to build the first one because I had to stop a few times to give my dog some scratches and petting otherwise he would be standing on the materials I was usingð heâs needy in case yâall didnât realize and also kind of an a-hole when he doesnât get attention (we think he was a cat in another life). 2nd one took me about 30min to build once I set him up with a treat puzzle toy and somewhere where he could see me lol.All in all really great bookcase. It shouldnât take too long to build as long as you donât have distractions etc.

Beautiful Color and perfect size
Iâve been eyeballing this for a very long time. I was hoping for the blue one but theyâd changed the base to no longer include legs. I was hoping to swap them out but they are screwed directly into pre-attached mounts on the bottom.The attention to detail was very nice – the screw heads are the same color as the shelf. They are actual screws, not annoying locking screws and they include a hex head to fit your favorite electric screwdriver or drill and highly recommend that you use one for a tight fit.Pre coated – on both sides – backing was included but I opted not to use it for access to electrical outlets behind the shelf.The shelves are deep and tall and the shelf is very stable when weight is evenly distributed with whatever youâd like.

Great bookcase for the price!
Bought this bookcase for my yoga room and was pleasantly surprised by look and quality. My husband put it together easily. It is a little wobbly , so I would recommend using the included strap that will secure it to the wall if you have kids around.

Good for kids, but lots of flaws
I love the design and color of this bookcase, and purchased two for my daughter’s playroom. I was pretty disappointed to find that a lot of the pieces have scratches and brown marks on them. I would’ve returned if this had been for anywhere else in my home, but since I know kids are going to be hard on it anyways, I kept it. I do think it’s overpriced for the quality. $100 maybe, but $150 is too much for what you get.Pros: Color and design are pretty, unique, and aesthetic! The piece seems sturdy. Comes with wall anchors for anti-tippingCons: Scratched pieces, screws showing everywhere (wooden dowels and cam screws would be so much better). The back pieces don’t have pre-marked holes or anything to help line it up, which made it difficult to get the nails into the unit sometimes. Make sure when you put it together, you examine each piece for the best side to face out.All in all, it’s fine for kids, but this wouldn’t go anywhere else in my home because the quality is not there with all of the scratches and screws showing.

Ended up purchasing another!
Bought this for my oldest child’s room and was so impressed with the quality that I bought it again for my second child’s room. Fairly easy to put together, I didn’t need any extra help and was able to put it together myself. Very sturdy – don’t love that the screws are visible on the top, but that’s my only minor gripe.
