The chairs are perfectly sized and at a good height for my husband and I. The actual table is less wide than expected but we have an island where the food not being eaten right away can go. I have bumped into it a couple times and it never felt wobbly and was quite sturdy. The table and chairs are at a perfect height for comfortable use. It functions perfectly for our family and can’t wait to have someone over for dinner.

We received the product very quickly. Beware it is HEAVY when it’s delivered in the box. We unboxed everything by the front door and brought it into the kitchen. I have to say the shipping packaging was amazing! Not one dent or anything. Everything was very easy to put together. We purchased the 6 seat set. It took myself and 9 year old an hour to build it all only because the little tool it came with wasn’t wanting to stay on the hole so every time you went to turn it, it would come out. But we got it done. Love the look and fits perfect in our space. However we went to eat on it for the first time and our dishes scratched it very easily. Not a huge deal I’ll just vinyl wrap it or something but just be cautious.

*Edit* I am posting my edit above the original because FedEx did deliver (I still wish they’d just go bankrupt).My table is enjoyable. I think I bought one of the larger models. It was easy to assemble, it’s basically just a patterned event that becomes intuitive quickly.One thing I didn’t really anticipate is that without the leaf extension the two smaller benches don’t really tuck under this table, so largely if you want to keep the table small then the two benches may as well be in a closet somewhere… Or pop the leaf in and they look nice tucked in under it. Hopefully someone else may not have this oversight, that was on me.I’m happy with the look of this table, although I did find a scuff mark right out of the box, hence the picture… Honestly, I have two young kids, my oldest is 5, scuff marks are an eventuality so I won’t throw a fit.It would have 5 stars otherwise of the scuff, mostly due to decent instructions, looks, and sturdiness… Maybe I will give 5 stars… scuff marks were gonna happen. Plus the ratchet tool they sent with the kit is quite clever and actually made the whole process a little more fun than a kit like this normally would be, couldn’t help but admire the inginuity of it.It’s a sturdy build, pretty solid and I imagine it can hold a lot of weight. It’s is a decent value and I imagine if your reading my review you probably don’t have a grand piano in your house to put this cheap table next to–not judging, but I’d hardly call it a high class table–its more of a marginal utility–satisfaction per dollar type table. The table came damaged and the whole set was much smaller than it appears in the photos. Super inexpensive looking. Laminate appears to be lifting in a couple spots.

I purchased the set with two benches and two stools. We wanted something for our dining room while we looked for a formal dining set. This table is good enough for that, but is likely to graduate to a sewing table once we are able to replace it.The table was easy to put together. Unlike other reviews, I did not have any trouble with the parts aligning for assembly. I only needed help flipping the table right side up once everything was assembled. Both the table and seats feel sturdy. I did not have any trouble with the hardware. The leaf mechanism works well.However, I do not think 8 people could fit at this table. It is very narrow. If people are eating at the table, there won’t be much room for anything other than their plates. As other reviews said, the wood grain doesn’t match on the top of the table. My partner is taller than me and he found the stools to be an odd size, making it uncomfortable to sit on. I will probably make cushions for the seats.

Just moved into a new house and there are a ton of big money issues. Needed a table to eat at and decided to purchase this as the price is low and it’s the style I like. It is a little narrower than most sets but fits perfectly in our space.. Easily sits 6 people without the extension. It looks nice. I did cover with a tablecloth because I didn’t want to mark the surface of the table. Family is often over our house and to create extra seats I put in the addition and add a couple of folding chairs. Great purchase!

Not difficult to put together, but you will need patience because some of the screws don’t align well so it makes it difficult. Got this for my son’s first studio apartment and it is a good size if you have limited space. I would go with the solid color darker not lighter (my preference next time). Seems sturdy, but its only been about 30 days.
