BEAUTIFUL sofa
I purchased this olive velvet sofa for my living room and I was a bit nervous ordering something this big off of amazon. I originally found it on wayfair but it is cheaper here or at least at the time was. I’ve had it for a few weeks now.What I like:Fast delivery: it arrived in no time! I do not have prime and also live in an area that has little to nothing around no Amazon warehouses so typically it takes awhile. It was maybe a week to week and a half?Assembly: super fast and easy I did it alone and took maybe 30min to do. I would recommend a second person to make it easier because at one point you have to lift it to tighten bolts and I dropped it on my foot which hurt… but that’s on me it does say two people but I wasn’t waiting 4hrs for him to come home.Looks: it is STUNNING! I am so in love with it. I live in a cabin so our decor is a mix of rustic lodge and moody Victorian this fit perfectly. It has a very elegant vintage feel without being very loud and the color made it blend in flawlessly. The velvet is very soft and beautiful.What I don’t like:Comfort: we have a homestead and no tv so we don’t sit for hours at a time so it’s not a huge factor for us. This is comfortable enough to sit for short periods but if you are someone who enjoys lounging for hours I would warn you this is not the best option. It is very firm.Overall I love it and it’s perfect for us but again this is more of an occasional sitting sofa/decorative.

A decent couch
I like the couch even though it’s not one of those sink into comfortable couches. I think if I can get the legs changed out to a shorter leg, it will be much more comfortable for me. I am short and so if I sit all the way back my feet will not touch the floor. Even my daughter who is considerably taller than me still had a hard time with that. Some have said it’s because the seats are too deep, but I don’t think that’s the case. I simply think the legs are too tall for the couch. The material is really beautiful and I wish there was a chair to match. The cushions are very firm, but I think in the long run that’s a good thing as they will not start looking deflated after a few months of use. I purposely bought a couch with a tight back instead of cushions because I don’t like how cushions sag down after a while. One thing I will say is that Jennifer Taylor home does not have great customer service. I called and asked them about replacing the legs and they haven’t gotten back with me yet. It’s been at least 3 weeks or more. 5/13/2024

Green Velvet Sofa by Jennifer Taylor
I love this couch. The seats are firm. I don’t like a sofa you sink into and can’t get out of. The velvet olive green fabric is rich and soft. I did sweat a little having to put it together but I opted for this rather than pay more for higher end service. I think it would help if they put on the directions to loosen/unscrew the side screws in order to slide the arm rest side of the couch onto the base form. I also bought the round ottoman to match. Very happy with both. The only thing I changed was, I bought fancier legs online at Amazon and traded them out. I just felt that with this type of camelback sofa, the modern legs didn’t go.

I love this beautiful couch!
I am so happy with this purchase. The couch is an absolutely beautiful green. The velvet adds a touch of nostalgia, warmth, and luxury. The couch is firm, which I like, and offered at a very good price. I am excited to receive the two chairs I ordered from the same small business on Friday.
