Works well and remote is a plus
I’ve been using this floor lamp in my home office for over a month now so I’ve had time to get used to its controls, the remote and generally the adequacy of its brightness. Overall I am happy with the lamp. The remote is nice because it is magnetic so I can “stick” it to a filing cabinet near my desk or a desk leg. I almost always use the remote now and find it very convenient. The switch on the lamp, and the buttons on the remote, are all easy to use, don’t require excessive pressure to activate but also aren’t so sensitive that they are too easy to change – they are about perfect in terms of ergonomic use.The lamp feels well built and sturdy, though it is minimalist in design and intentionally very thin. I happen to like that look, though not everyone will. At first, I was afraid it would be easily knocked over, but after a month or so, it seems well balanced and no easier to knock over than an older more traditional looking, though also stainless, lamp it replaced. I like the minimalist design that consumes less space in the room. It will bring out your inner Scandinavian!The three lamp color options are nice, but I always use the middle color temp setting so there’s not much need to be able to change the temp. The tilting lamp head is nice, but since it can’t be pointed downward to get more light on a work surface, there’s really not much point in it. Ours is pointed straight up like a standard floor lamp would be and we’ve never moved it from there. There’s nothing wrong with having features you don’t use, but for the same price, I would have preferred they eliminate the color temp choice and tilting, and put more money into a brighter bulb – see below.The only shortcoming of the lamp is that it is not very bright. Anything other than the brightest setting wouldn’t be useful for much more than as a night light or perhaps mood lighting in a larger room. At the brightest setting it gives off an adequate amount of light for most office uses, but just barely. Another 10-20W of light would be much nicer. I would prefer an LED lamp that would have enough light for reading or working in a home office at 70-80% maximum brightness, so there would be a little headroom for those task, or older eyes, when they needed just a little more light.Overall, I recommend this lamp. Some people with like the more incandescent lamp color or the harsher cold lamp color, and some may want the ability to tilt the head a bit, and be very satisfied with the overall brightness.

Love it!!
I love everything about this light!! I just put it together and have been playing with the lighting and controls. Love the touch control on the pole! Love the soft yellow and bright white which ever mood you want. My living room gets dark in winter so Iâm planning ahead! Tired of buying light bulbs and not getting the lighting I truly like. This lamp has it all in my opinion. Functionality, ease of use and the perfect lighting modes!! I want to buy another one!

Not stable. Works with Amazon smart plug. Iâm very satisfied with the purchase.
This is the fourth pole lamp Iâve put together in the past 6 weeks. The others were through the Vine program, but I liked the concept and purchased this lamp for its added brightness.Likes:Brighter than similar lamps. Three different light settings.Simple to operate.Comes with its own remote control.Works with Amazon smart plug.Very good directions.Dislike.Not stable at all. Not recommended if placed where it can be bumped.Overall.Simplicity of this lamp.Two of the other lamps I ordered were classified as smart lamps, operated through software installed on your phone. Negative comments on those were by people that just wanted an easy to operate lamp. This lamp is easy to operate and there is no app to download. I added an Amazon smart plug to the other smart lamp for simplicity I lost some features but I just wanted simplicity. This lamp works perfectly with an Amazon smart plug, for those that donât want to be tied to a remote. You do need the remote to adjust brightness.Stability. All of the lamps that I ordered were in the range of 10 pounds. Although the base seems heavy, the lamps are so tall they are not stable. Great for a no pet, no child household, or if placed in a secure location.Assembly. I recommend placing the lamp on the floor with a pillow under the bulb part. The base props the lamp up and using a pillow on the other end levels it off and makes assembly easier. There was a loose nut in the box with no direction on using the nut. It did go on under the base. Probably not needed. There does appear to be excess cord between the bulb part and the top tube. Slowly pulling the cord at the base removes the slack. The cord, or wiring, runs through every piece. That takes guesswork away. On other smart lamps that I ordered there is a separate tube with no cord running through it. The directions were on those were poor. I placed the separate piece at the bottom, it belonged at the top, and pulled the excess cord. The wiring split. Trashed the lamp. After that learning experience, I ordered another lamp and assembled it easily.Adapter. This is important. The directions state not to use any other adapter. On one of the other lamps I ordered, a less expensive one, the adapter was missing. I used another adapter that I had, and blew the lamp. I trashed it. Another reviewer had the same experience. No adapter in the box, used another adapter, the wire started melting.The remote. Initially it didnât work. I reread the directions. It said the remove the film on the battery. I hadnât noticed any film. I removed the film and presto, it worked perfectly.I can recommend this lamp.

solid calm standing lamp with a convenient remote
The floor lamp offers solid lighting for all room sizes (we have ours in our living room) with adjustable color temperatures and brightness. It’s pretty sturdy and has a tilting mechanism to allow you to adjust the lighting to fit your needs. The remote can be magnetically attached to the lamp for ease of storage but we usually keep it across the room for easy access. Ours is placed behind the TV to provide additional lighting in the otherwise dark corner and the remote allows us to adjust it without having to reach around the TV.

I love this floor lamp because of the brightness and, most importantly, the remote. There are cheaper floor lamps for less than $100 that are perfectly fine. However, if you plan to keep the floor lamp in a harder-to-reach place, you want the remote to control the light. The base is quite heavy and sturdy, which means that the light’s foundation is solid. It looks sleek, elegant, and well-made. Make sure you get a holder for the remote control to ensure you do not misplace it!

I bought this for my friend as her house living room doesn’t have lights. she loves the light as it can switch to different color of lights and can light up or down with the remote. It’s easy to talk to the seller. my questions were quick responded.

We use this in our media room and really like the controlled brightness of this lamp. By pointing it at the ceiling and adjusting the angle, it doesn’t show any glare on the TV screen. It provides excellent illumination for reading too. We are very pleased with this product and would strongly recommend this to anyone.
