It’s like magic. A floating surface mounted door with no visible hardware! Black magic!Im an architect. I have used similar products for one of my designs but it was way more expensive. I was excited to try this one.Im happy so far. Great value.

Well packaged. works as intended
Well packaged, comes hardware needed.I have not hung a full 176 lb door but have hung a 30 lb door and its been fine.Will update if anything changes so far so good.

Does not come with a door
The door track kit comes with all the necessary hardware you will need to start and finish the door install. The bottom of your door will have to be grooved out for mounting the lower track wheels. This is pretty easy to do with a router. The door track system slows down and closes soft. It’s a pretty neat idea concealing the tracks. This gives the room a more modern look. Nice kit.

Quality Parts, Unique Operation, Requires Skilled Installer
I’m excited to install this product in the barn door for our master bedroom. It’s going to look REALLY awesome with NO visible hardware and the door just floating side to side and softly coming to a rest.How does it work? That is what I wondered too. This is how: The track (pictured) is installed into a rabbet in the topside of the back of the door. This is what keeps the top of the door in place and the soft close actuators are mounted on either end of this track. A single wall mounting bracket is installed at the upper corner of the door frame, this has rollers that the track hangs on. The bottom of the door has wheels and a track that are recessed into the bottom and a single pin on the floor registers in the track. To be clear this rolls back and forth on the floor, so this will NOT work if you have carpets. The wheels are spring loaded so they have some travel to move with a floor that’s not perfectly level.The installation of this hardware is not for the novice. It requires a good amount of cutting/drilling/routing to be done to the door, all of which must be done precisely. If you’re not positive you’re going to have the tools, skills, and time to install this, save yourself the trouble and get one of the traditional style hardware sets.However, if you’ve got the skills available to install it, it’s super cool.

Nice hardware for a barn door install
This is a pretty nice kit for a concealed Barn door. I’m a big fan of the concealed looks because you could essentially hide the bulky aspects of a standard barn door and make a more sleek modern finish while still having the smooth sliding door.The hardware in this kit seems to be quality although I always use my own bolts and screws because you never really know what you’re being given.Outside of that I like everything else that came with the kit. This is a simple and cost-effective way to make an upgrade in your home. All you need now is the door.Until We Meet Again-Off the Grid Ken

This door system is well-made and works great. The hardware is very sturdy, but relatively light. Installation is straightforward, but a little difficult for a typical DIYer.
