Really solid doorknob and deadbolt
Just replaced the set on my rental’s doors because my old handleset was showing it’s age and was loose. These knobs feel solid and are of good quality. It took less than a minute to rekey both to the key on the security gate. Love the ability to do that myself. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for an relatively inexpensive replacement that can be rekeyed. Kwikset also has lifetime warranty on finish which I’ve used in the past and it is really great.

Good product, can be a pain to install
It seems impossible to find a profile pic of the Cameron vs Juno locksets, even on the Kwikset web site, so I’ve attached a photo. I actually intended to buy the Juno to match existing knobs but after trying the Cameron I actually like the feel better!This lockset boasts that it is a one-tool installation. If you are replacing a recent Kwikset lock and deadbolt, or decide to reuse your existing deadbolt strike plate, that one tool is a #2 Phillips screwdriver. If you want to use the high-security strike plate they provide, and/or your current deadbolt is not a deep throw model, the one tool you need is a combination screwdriver, utility knife, 1/8 inch drill bit and drill, and potentially a 3/4 inch paddle or (preferably) Forstner bit to deepen the strike plate pocket. Use the utility knife (or chisel) to trace around the new larger strike plate and mortise out the material so it’s flush with the trim. Pre-drill holes for the deep screws using the 1/8 inch bit, at least through the door trim which is likely to split if you don’t.Before making your decision about using the new strike plate, check the area behind the door frame to be sure you can drive a 3-inch screw into it. One of my doors was set into a concrete foundation wall and I had to buy shorter screws. That alone is a bit of a challenge because the long screws have somewhat oversized heads so none of the screws in my junk drawer would work.All that said, the locks themselves seem to be good quality with very little play in them. The ability to re-key them means I only had to buy two locks and can use the same (existing!) key in all outside locks because my other two were already Kwiksets. If I need to re-key in the future I still have the keys from these new locks and can switch to them.

Looks great, works great, love the smart key feature
This is the same product that I found at the local hardware store for less money. The locks look very nice and were super easy to install. Because it is a smart key version you never have to worry about trying to find matching numbers that will use the same key. Smart key allows you to self key each lock so that one key opens all. It is very easy to key the lock as long as you have the key that currently unlocks it. Insert the keying tool which is included with lock, insert the current key and turn, insert the desired key and turn back. That’s it. Works the same on any Kwikset Smartkey lock.

Comes with everything for new constructions or replacement. Easy to rekey to the rest of your KW1 locks. Smooth operation.

Great look and price/value for a Grade 1 lock
I wanted to make sure I purchased a grade 1 lock for security. The Kwikset Cameron Keyed Entry Door Knob and Single Cylinder Deadbolt Combo Pack was a great value for the price/quality. It looks great and works exactly how I had hoped. They were simple to install. The SmartKey feature is worth the money. I can change the key to my locks without the cost of having a Locksmith come to my home. I have replaced 5 doors with these new locks and highly recommend them to others for the price/quality.

Fast delivery, easy installation, has a dead bolt and you can rekey it. Reviews on internet also say it is a pretty secure lock.

This is a really bad quality lock I’ve ever bought. It really make me mad because I bought the same brand and model and they have completely different quality. I wish I checked it before installing it. I removed and threw away the package and went ahead and install it thinking it’s the same as the one I bought about 2 years ago. I was so wrong and makes me really mad at this Brand. I bought this because I wanted to program to use the same key as the other lock bought the disappointment I get makes me having to looking at replacing both locks with different brand. when turning the key to lock and unlock the cylinder deadbolt and the knob, it grinds like I bought the thing from dollars store

Great product, easy to use and install
I absolutely love these. We ordered 3 sets for each of our doors. We just bought a house and I wanted peace of mind that we were the only ones with keys to our home. The previous locks weren’t anything special either so we had a hard time locking and unlocking them so it was time for an upgrade. They were very easy to install. Our doors, obviously, already had the holes drilled and lucky for us they were the same sizes needed for these locks so that worked out well. I was sick of waiting for my fiance to install them so I took the first package and did one myself. It didn’t take me more than 15 minutes and that’s excessive because I wanted to make sure I got everything right so I didn’t mess up and my fiance couldn’t say I should have waited for him to do it! Our main decision is buying these was the SmartKey feature because we wanted all three doors to be the same key. It’s very easy to use your own key with these locks. I didn’t realize each set came with the SmartKey re-keying tool so I went ahead and bought that as well for $10 but oh well. All in all a great purchase. I would definitely recommend these to others. They are fairly inexpensive and a great addition to any home.
