Replaced carpeted stairs with luxury vinyl plank flooring and our poor dog became afraid of the stairs. Looking for an inexpensive solution to see if it changed her demeanor. This value pack and value priced stair tread product does the trick nicely. They do show dirt fairly easily and quickly, we try to keep things clean but walking in from outside with shoes on will immediately make them gray.That stated the dog is confident now, they are easily washable. Throw them in cold with a scoop of OxiClean. When done through them in the dryer or hang them up. They don’t slip (still semi-grippy), there is no residue left behind, and they hold their shape nicely. They clean up really well. So far after 3 to 4 washes, they are holding their form, are not disintegrating or curling, and are working well for us. Would recommend as an inexpensive solution.

Beautiful and soft, but they do slip!
I bought these b/c are aging dog could not walk up are hardwood stairs without falling. Iâm going to keep them, as they are soft and attractive, but will try some carpet tape on the underside hoping that does the trick!

Color is good but ok quality
Color is good as displayed in photo. Mat is little smoother than expected. Price is little higher. It sticks ok to stairs. Overall quality is average.

Great quality
I love these stair treads. They are extremely soft and comfortable. The rubber backing is perfect and helps them stay in place without any adhesive. They were a great addition to my stairs

So very soft!
These are very soft under foot! We are in the process of trying to refresh an older home and I needed something to warm up some linoleum covered stairs until we are ready to deal with them. I also have an older dog that needs some grip on the stairs and these have worked great! I deducted 1 star because I feel they are a little pricey for what they are.P.S. They are not peel and stick, but rather rubber backed which is nice!

FABULOUS DESIGN – EVEN MORE BEAUTIFUL IN PERSON
No installation instructions accompany these treads – the listing itself is the only source of information I have found. The possibility of inadequate adhesion concerns me. I would make certain that any wax, polish, or similar slick floor finish is completely removed before installation and the surface is completely clean and dry. The use of a chemical solvent may be necessary. To put my mind at ease, I will be adding hidden carpet tacks around the border of each tread – anything to eliminate the possibility of a dangerous slip and fall injury.
