Purpose for this floor lamp was to provide a grow lamp for rubber plant. This works out well for my 3.5 ft plant. While it isn’t the height for typical floor lamp, it does provide essential lighting for a grow lamp or a taller reading lamp. Easy to put together- less than 5 minutes. Very sturdy (heavy) round base that has a small footprint. Three sections to assemble the pole and the hooded lamp head. It is flexible and molds well to your desired position. As long as it has any E26 bulbs – LED, grow or (incandescent -under 40 watts) this lamp will work well with this size bulb.While the lamp says it’s 58 inches tall, this does NOT mean that its height is 58 inches when the lamp head is bent. At best, you will get about 4 ft, give or take. This switch/cord is shorter than average. The on/off switch is easy to operate, however, it is in plain view and near the top of the lamp. The cord’s length is hampered by this placement of the switch and will have a very short reach if trying to plug it in to low outlet that isn’t close to the lamp. Best to have the lamp near outlet or a table that has an outlet built in. Even with the small issues, this floor lamp seems to work well as a grow lamp and is recommended.

I ordered the black one last month, and was so delighted with it that I got a sand black one a day ago. I have a couple of music stands that I use in different places, and this is the perfect light to shine on the sheet music. It is bright even with only a 40 watt bulb, and suits my need perfectly. This lamp is very portable, yet the base is heavy and sturdy, but not too much to lift and move it easily. I love that the switch is not mounted right over the lamp but on a cord extending from the lamp, so there’s nothing hot to touch when switching off and on. It was extremely easy to assemble and arrived safely in very sturdy protective packaging. I highly recommend this, for similar uses for musicians especially. I may get another one to use over my drawing board. It’s such a handy lamp! So useful when you need something that provides a sort of focused light without glare. I’m very happy with this little light of mine.

Not as tall as it appears in the photos. Easily bendable into many positions. Real easy as it’s being posed for the pole to unscrew from the base. The base is sturdy, heavy enough so it doesn’t tip over easily. I love the black and silver together. Makes a great desk lamp – more room on the desk!

This lamp is HEAVY. Like, you can use it as self defense in case of a break in, heavy. The base is weighted which is super nice, and the neck is nicely adjustable and not stiff, it’s easily bendable and a nice charcoal gray that’ll easily match just about anything. Overall it’s build really really well, and it’s pretty bright for how cheap it was. I only wish the height was adjustable as well, but overall it’s a great lamp. Would buy again.

I put it behind my headboard to read at bedtime. Switch is at just the right height. Very sturdy base.Glad it is behind the bed as the top part of the lamp and the bottom of the lamp are a little bit off in colour. I would not be as happy with it if it was standing out in the open in my livingroom.The top and bottom of this lamp must be painted in different areas of the lamp factory.Still giving a 5 star as I hope they get their paints together.

The switch is very conveniently placed. The lamp itself is sturdy yet sleek, and very adjustable. It is perfect for my needs. It doesn’t take a lot of room either.
