I am very happy with the LEPOWER Wood Tripod Floor Lamp! When I opened the box, I could see it is good quality and very nice design. The wood tripod is strong and looks natural, and the linen shade makes the light soft and comfortable. It makes my room feel warm and cozy.The assembly was very easy! I finished it in about 10 minutes, and I did not need any tools. The instructions were simple, and everything fit together very well. Updated Review (7/2024): I just bought a second one of these lamps for my office. I got it in the darker legs for the office to match the dark desk. I posted a picture of the new dark legged lamp next to the one that has lighter legs so it’s easier for shoppers to see how the two color options compare to each other. Shades appear to be the same color. Again, super great value, sturdy, and functional. The holes didn’t line up great when I was assembling it (can’t remember if that was the case with my first one) but with some finagling and muscle, I was able to make it work. Super happy with my repeat buy!!Original Review: I looked at a lot of tripod lamps – some that were nearly 3 times the price of this one. In general, all seemed to have the same ratings, assembly process, etc. so I figured I’d take my chances on this one and am so happy I did! Yes, you have to assemble it, but it’s not hard and once assembled, it’s sturdier than I expected. With this style of lamp, it’s never going to be perfectly sturdy because of the tripod/skinny leg design. These legs are about as sturdy as you can get to still get the sleek look. I cannot see the joints unless I look real close. The shade is a light tan textured fabric so it compliments our neutral space well. It should go with a lot of different color schemes, as long as the color scheme isn’t too cool (this is definitely a warmer/tan color so real cool grays without any offsetting warm colors may clash). The shade has a seam, so we just put it towards the back and it cannot be seen. I like that the lamp came with tiny hooks so you can secure the brown cord down one leg, making it blend seamlessly with the design (as compared to some others that don’t come with the hooks, so the cord just hangs down the middle – sloppy). And the fact that the cord is brown, it blends right in with the legs. The foot pedal on/off is nice as compared to a pulley chain or twist knob, but we’ll have it hooked into a smart plug for auto on/off schedule, so likely won’t use it much. Overall, for the price, I’m super happy with this purchase!!

I admit to being skeptical about this lamp when it came in a box about the size of a ream of copy paper. But inside was the most ingenious, nicely engineered, and easy-to-assemble lamp! It was well packaged and the directions were extremely clear and easy. All of the tools and pieces required were included, and they even gave a few extra screws in case one got lost. The lamp goes together with allen wrenches, which were included. I was concerned that the legs would look funny as they come in three pieces, but the cuts were so defined and the pieces fit together so well that you cannot even tell. They even included clips to hold the wire to a leg so it’s not dangling around in mid-air. Nice. I was also worried that the shade was going to look funny since you have to put that together and kind of unroll the shade fabric from its little box. But I was wrong. It looks fine. Nicely done! Literally my only complaint is that for some reason this lamp, which is basically warm brown tones, has a cool grey metal piece that holds the legs together and holds the light bulb. This is a jarring design faux pas, in my opinion. I mean, why could that piece not have been brown, to match the legs? It stands out and draws the eye in a negative way, detracting from the overall attractiveness of this lamp. . I’m probably going to have to paint that in a brown color just to make it go with the rest of the lamp. So that’s why I’ve given it 4 stars. Still, for this price point, I would for sure buy this again and just get my paints out.
