I bought this set for my son for his new apartment. The stools and table are solid wood. There is no particleboard in this set. Assembly instructions were clear enough and once put together this set is nice and stable.

Overall, I am very pleased with the table. One of the stools did arrive with damage but it does not impact the stools function. The table and stools are very sturdy. Fairly easy to assemble.

Pros:Love the style and appearance of these stools.They are sturdy and comfortable to sit on.They were very easy to assemble.These seem to be duplicates to some I found locally, but these were 2/3rds less expensive for a pair.Cons:The package the stools come in is large, HEAVY, and awkward.One stool leg is cracked all the way through at the attachment point to the seat and a stretcher has a chunk missing out of it. I contacted Lexicon at the number provided for product support.I’ve left two voice mails since July 26th and sent two emails without any response from Lexicon.I’ve had to order a replacement set from Amazon and will have to wrangle another heavy, awkward box into the house for two replacement pieces. Then I’ll have to wrangle the box back out for the return.This is frustrating and a hassle.Amazon did refund half of my purchase price, because of these issues.Edited to add: manufacturer finally responded to my emails after I created this review and complained to Amazon about the lack of response. The manufacturer didn’t offer any solutions and asked for information and pictures that had already been provided in my 1st email to them. Overall, their customer service/service after the sale is very lacking.
