Great bed, horrible to assemble.
I really love the bed. The material is nice, easy to clean and it looks great. The frame is very sturdy. It’s got plenty of storage underneath. My only CON is how DIFFICULT and time consuming it was to assemble. The entire bed comes disassembled. There were some parts that could have been put together by the manufacturer and still fit in the similar packaging. There are 29 steps to assemble the unit and it took me and my niece almost 2 hours to put it together and we’re IKEA experts. Also, the storage lining is pretty much useless as it’s not water proof, so if you’re concerned about a pet lifting the leg, you might consider adding a plastic lining before you put the cloth lining provided. Other than that, it’s a really great looking bed. 🙂

Bought for the frame not the head boards.
Even for my very handy husband these were a challenge to put together. I bought them because they were the only twin size lift up storage bed frames I could find. They work really well with good storage. But the head boards are so ugly. I had him leave them off at first but the frame wasn’t very stable with out them. Who designs these? I will eventually get creative and replace the upholstered mismatched chair backs with antenna with something that compliments our decor.

Lift up frame
The instructions in the booklet were very inadequate. Even with two people, the assembly took a long time. The screws did not align with the holes. Also, the fabric piece at the very bottom is pointless; it doesn’t support any weight .If the person helping me weren’t experienced in assembly, it would have been almost impossible to build. I would definitely have returned it otherwise. Also, in my opinion, the bed’s appearance looks like a cockroach.

Very nice, just some complicated assembly
It is a beautiful bed. We got 2. You can mirror image the headboard, but that means buying another plank for the support in the back (unseen). Speaking of which, the holes on that support board don’t line up well to the holes in the headboards. I drilled new holes 1/4” from ones that were there. You’ll also struggle with brackets since instead of holes they are oblong oval holes. If one side is higher, you get a slanted bed. Best not to fully tighten and let gravity help in the alignment once you get the main portion assembled. Be patient and think outside the box.On my 2nd one I decided to connect both headboards first, but then the holes on the beam didn’t line up. So I did what I did with the first.Btw, the hydraulic piston will not work unless a mattress is on there.Great guest bed, but a little flimsy imho as an everyday bed, no.

I wish I had this as a kid
I got this for my niece because she’s the oldest of three and she’s at the age to where she probably cares about the style of her bed a little bit. She loves it and I love it for her. The design of this is so beautiful it’s so modern but artsy at the same time. It’s heavy, but it’s not the heaviest bed. You could definitely move it. It’s easy to move around if you’re re-organizing your room or something. The build quality is pretty good and decent. I mean you’re definitely getting what you paid for but it’s not bad like it’s not a cheaply done bed at all. It’s pretty sturdy endurable so far. The color is gorgeous and it’s neutral so you can make it work with a lot of color schemes. The extra storage was needed it was needed so bad kids go through a lot of stuff such as toys clothes anything so the extra storage is very nice especially if you have a smaller room or home. The instructions were simple enough to follow. I would definitely still recommend two people putting it together just for a faster process.

Not as expected
Not the best quality. Expected at least to be sturdy. Especially when there is a storage under, you suppose to use it often up and down, I’m scared to lift it . The lights are too short
