The rug is soft and comfortable. When first out its packaging it is smaller than expected but seems to grow after a few days. So far it has held up well but it is getting less use than intended. I initially got for an area my cat was playing in in hopes it might dampen the noises from her night-time play antics while I was trying to sleep. But both of my cats refused to even step on it. They do prefer hard surfaces so maybe that’s why. Or maybe there is a smell my human nose doesn’t detect. I moved the rug to the side of the bed and it’s working well for me there.

Looks fantastic in my bedroom. Really like it. It is holding up really well and it is best washed just in your bathtub and hung to dry. Nice and soft and fairly thick and the cat loves laying on it too lol.

My initial reception of this item does include some disappointment. UPDATE: Though thin, they are bright and soft!
Fellow consumers, I purchased this rug and another of the same style but different color to serve as decor for the drab dorm I am residing in this summer. My initial reception of this item does include some disappointment. These rugs are made from a thin material that does not compare to other shag rugs I own and have seen. So far, my rugs do not seem to resemble the photos at all. Only the bright colors live up to my expectations. However, I am aware that the product needs a few days to recover from the vacuum sealing process. Therefore, I shall update my review within 2-3 days. Hopefully some life is brought to these rugs!!!UPDATE: Indeed, these rugs have been revived! They have a little more volume, but not nearly enough to declare them amazing. I have them in purple and pink. The colors are really vibrant and look great in my dorm room. However, these rugs are not nearly as thick as the pictures suggest. They are thin, and I suspect they would be slippery if they weren’t anchored down by my bed and various other dorm room items. Despite how thin they are, they are incredibly soft. If you’re just looking for some nice decor that’s easy to clean, I highly recommend this product.

Excellent Product, But Not âLuxuryâ
This is an excellent product, but âluxuryâ is a misnomer. The rug is soft, but itâs not thick. It has a vibrant color tone and fun vibe, but itâs not something you would ordinarily think about using in the common areas of your home (unless youâre going for a bohemian look). We put it just outside the bedrooms of our pre-teen girlsâto make an otherwise plain patch of hardwood flooring a bit more interesting. It definitely worked for us. Our girls love walking across it on the way to the hallway bathroom, and its become a natural convergence point for hallway conversation. This is an excellent product at a great price point. I recommend it highly.
