Item is very complicated, it needs more description on compatibility. Very disappointing, got 2 of them one in UAE one from US. The one from the local supplier couldnât return, by the time we tried couple of our friends apartments and our office, return wasnât available.The one from US return costs same as the item.

Excellent security entry door lock
After buying this entry door lock almost a year ago, I have been very pleased with it. The design is great, it works very well.What I like about this entry door lock, it will lock automatically when closing my door, the setup was simple since I have to set up the door lock through my smartphone device. This will work with Apple iOS or Android devices. But I have to download the app to my smartphone. I also like the design of the screen to enter the security code. The door lock will mix up numbers in order to confuse a person attempting to enter. But I always enter my room using the fingerprint scanner rather then entering the passcode. I can set up the door lock to either unlock the door lock using a passcode or the fingerprint scanner.Overall, I am very happy purchasing this door lock. The installation was simple. However, the device works with 4 AA batteries. But I will be alerted through my notifications when the batteries are running low. I do strongly recommend to give this entry door lock a try. But I would buy this entry door lock on a sale price.

Great product, have 2, will be buying for all external doors in our home
These locks/doorhandles are great! My husband and I both fingerprint in, no need to takes keys when stepping out to walk the dog, etc. I bought the first one, then added a second and we will be adding 2 more eventually. They are defiantly worth having! Be sure to know your code though or have a place you will remember, our community flooded and our fingers were pruney so the fingerprint reader couldn’t read our fingerprints, also you may have to make some adjustments to your door or door frame, small adjustments, we did ourselves without issue.

Works Great!
I installed it myself, I used the extra screw mount hole because I wanted what I presume is extra rigidity. I had some manufacturer door handles on and they kept coming loose for some reason and sometimes the latch would be hard to close (I was told standard low security knob was used) haven’t had a problem opening or closing the door yet! Key pad is cool but I mainly use the finger print. The upsell bothers me because I thought I would be able to connect it to wifi but from reading instructions it seems I have to buy another device to do that. The kit does include a template sheet for the hole patterns, which was necessary, but it took me a little while to be comfortable I was using it right, only worry I had going through it all.

Amazing
So, I had a eufy in my previous home and it was good. However, in my new home the door is a different style so I tried out this expensive lockly. The install took no more than 5 min. Quick and simple set up. Fingerprint is great. Feels like a true lock and I like it much more than the eufy. My only complaint is the high price but it has no issues otherwise

Not as described.
Hard to install,Components of tech are cheap inside and broke during attempted installation.Also, this product isnât what you want if you want to still use your deadbolt.The whole idea was to have added security.Without a deadbolt, youâre losing security.All that aside, it was a nightmare to install.I have to return it as even after it was mounted, the basic latch wasnât functioning correctly.Very disappointed with my experience.I was so excited for this lock but now must return and find something else.Other people have had a different experience, so I really donât know what to say.

Two Important Install Notes!
Received this lock and was impressed on how well it was not only built but packaged to boot.To some the install might look a bit daunting but if you use the BILT app (instructions upon opening box advise you on how) it’s actually very straightforward and easy to install.I have a read a few reviews where people say the unit is loose and doesn’t appear to be built well. I couldn’t disagree more. It seems to be built extremely well and I would argue if it appears anything less the install wasn’t done properly.One issue I did run into was upon initial install the outer handle wouldn’t turn the spindle and engage the latch to allow the door to open regardless if it was locked or not. After installing it and reinstalling it and having the same issue, I started to become frustrated and called Lockley customer service. Their customer care was very prompt and professional and immediately had a solution for me. You simply go into settings and hit “calibrate”. The lock calibrated itself for about a minute and worked perfectly fine after that. Figured I’d add this as the rep told me it’s a common issue. Hoping this saves some of you some frustration and potentially returning it should you feel it is defective.Lastly, as far as the operation goes, I have read some reviews on the fingerprint scanner itself not working perfectly. I have not had an issues with mine. On initial setup, the app will give you the option of a “deep scan” once you set up your initial print. I highly recommend doing this as it makes it much easier for the lock to recognize your print. Also I noticed to apply just the very tip of your finger when unlocking versus the tip and middle part of the print. Doing this assures it will unlock it first attempt just about every time.
