Standard installation, confusing set-up and programming
This is a lock that you definitely want to read the instructions before installing. While the mounting of the lock is simple enough, the procedure for registering users and changing users may not be for everyone. It requires an app to be downloaded and an account to be created. Apparently this is required to set your own 6 digit code and fingerprint. Viewing the youtube video associated with the instructions doesn’t help much. According to the video, each user wanting to add their fingerprint needs a different 6 digit code. There is no option for the lock to be re-keyed. It has a kwikset style key (2), so if you want one key to open all house doors you will have to re-key the other locks (as long as they are kwikst) to the Smart Lock key, then have copies of those made for the other household users. Maybe 3 stars are too many, but the lock looks nice and if you can get through all the set-up, it functions as designed.

Easy installation
Easy installation if you are replacing an old dead bolt. If you are not replacing a dead bolt you will need to create a hole for the lock to be set up.Does take some troubleshooting to get the smart lock to set up correctly and accurately, however once it’s set up it is very easy to use.

Amazing gadget!
My husband installed this in about 10 minutes on our front door. It was easy to remove the old deadbolt and replace it with this keyless entry system. We will no longer use the bottom door lock and instead rely on the deadbolt. There is a learning curve if you arenât very tech savvy. I think I entered my own fingerprint for 4 different users haha. I plan on doing a hard reset and starting over. It was fairly simple to get my family added to our âhomeâ and establish their fingerprints. The awesome thing about this lock is that each family member can establish their own passcode. This makes it so much easier as they can choose one they will easily remember. You can also lock and unlock from the app which is great when we are in bed and need to check and see if weâve locked the door. Also, it comes with 2 keys. If that isnât enough- you can also set a time limited temporary password if you have a dog sitter or if you need to let in a friend who otherwise isnât in your system yet. I am still playing with the features but this is a really cool gadget. The iPhone app had over 44k reviews so I felt confident in using this app to enter our personal information and connect to my home internet.

Great lock!
Very easy to install and setup. Itâs essentially plug and play. Everything worked exactly as it should. The finish is great too. I like the zinc casing. Itâs heavy duty and looks really good. This is an easy upgrade to make for better security and a fresh look.

Easy install & cool upgrade
This is a pretty cool new upgrade that lets you get into your house with a key or a combination. It functions as a deadbolt as well, which is nice. Our installation was easy, it fit right where the old stuff was. It was also easy to program. Highly recommend!

Great safety lock
I have received this and was excited to install it in my door it took 15- 20 min to install and itâs the best works perfectly has 5 ways to use it thatâs the cool part with the keys, fingerprint,app,Bluetooth and code number. The setup was a lil longer but finally got to make it work it also uses a bank power or batteries I like how smooth now the door opens and locks very satisfied Manuel was very easy to understand instructions
