Not real wood but they get the job done
I think these are beautiful and sturdy. I just ordered 2 more sets because I need more storage. Honestly I think they’re over-priced but I bought a set last year and wanted more to match. I can’t remember if there was instructions but they were simple to install, you just need to know how to install screws with anchors. I used my power drill and it only took about 5 or so minutes.

I bought these to hold a set of bookshelf speakers. My speakers weight 20 lbs each.The finish of the wood is not perfect but certainly not horrible. From 3′ away none of the imperfections are visible. Even if they were visible these are supposed to be “rustic” looking.As other reviewers have commented the wood is very light. Lightweight does not mean weak; these hold my speakers without any visible flex whatsoever.My only gripe with them is the brackets were very slightly mismatched. I spent the better part of an evening carefully measuring and leveling the mounting locations on the wall. When I was all done one shelf was level and the other is very slightly out of level. I attribute this to the holes in the mounting brackets being in slightly different places (maybe 1/16″ or less difference).I did not use the included wall anchors (cheap plastic inserts for holes drilled drywall). I used much better screw-in drywall anchors that I keep on hand; too many bad experiences with cheap anchors.I did add some rubber feet between the back of the shelf and the wall. Without access to the heads of the mounting screws it is difficult to get them at just the right depth into the anchors. The outcome is that with heavier loads the front of the shelf tips “down and away” from the wall slightly. The rubber feet (3/16″ thick) do a great job keeping the shelf level when heavily loaded.I rate 5 stars for overall value at the $40 price point.

Attractive, and sturdy enough for my needs
ADDENDUM: I purchased 4 more of these freestanding shelves for my office, to take advantage of wasted wall space and get stuff off of my desk. Now that I know to use wood glue to secure the screws that hold the shelves secure to the brackets, these are awesome! Anytime you purchase anything made with engineered wood, screws are going to fall out if you don’t do something to hold them in place. That is just a fact.********I wanted to get my router/modem and my computer off of my desk to make more room since I am downsizing, and these shelves seemed like the ideal option since they are freestanding, and I could position them anywhere I want.I finally installed them yesterday, and my only complaint is that the short screws that secure the wood shelves to the metal brackets simply fall out because engineered wood does NOT hold screws well. I remedied this problem by adding some wood glue to the screw threads and then screwed them in place. Hopefully this will hold.I also drilled pass-through holes for my cords on the wood shelves, and covered them with 2″ plastic grommets, as you can see from the photo. This worked out well. (Hint: cover the area on the shelves to be drilled with painter’s tape before drilling the holes as it will prevent the wood from splintering.)Overall, I am pleased with these shelves. I only gave 4 stars due to those screws falling out.

Floating Shelves
The size is absoluty perfect for what I wanted to do. I put them together in just a few minutes with a screwdriver. Mounting on the wall was easy too, although you’ll need to use a drill to mount in studs. The actual shelf is not a real heavy wood but it was a far better quality than others I bought and returned. I only needed 3 shelves and these come 2 in a set. I’ll easily find a place for the extra one! I love these shelves!!

Great Product, Awesome Customer Service!
I received my 2-pack of these shelves, and unfortunately, the package seemed to be missing all the screw hardware. After a single email to their support, I got a package 2 days later with all the screws and some extras so I could get this installed. It took very little effort, and they look amazing. I would highly recommend these in any of the color options available.

Large wall storage shelves
These have been great to use as storage in my bedroom. They have been able to hold a decent amount of weight, and I have not had to worry about them falling or breaking. They are sturdy shelves and easy to put on the wall. I would say the downside to the product is the initial assembly. There are no guide holes in the wood to connect it to the metal hangers, and make it more difficult to assemble it quickly.

Garbage
Don’t waste your money. I wasn’t expecting something fantastic, but I also wasn’t expecting basla wood. Wood is raw, not even sanded or sealed. There is a thin stain applied to the wood but it looks like someone spilled coffee on it. The wood is such poor quuality that the screws (small self tapping screws) blew out the holes and were not able to sink properly. This shouldn’t happen, I used a screw driver not an impact drill. I couldn’t even salvage the garbage brackets. Junk…

I bought these for my son for plants and he loves them. They’re deep enough for a potted plant and the shelves are so light they almost feel like they’d be foam or something. All of the weight is in the hangers. It was easy to put up, measured perfectly stud to stud. Seems pretty sturdy.

We used a drill to install the metal arms and a nail/hammer for initial wall hole & it worked very well. Used the wall plugs provided and did not install into studs and still seems very sturdy. I think I can add more books to this shelf still- will probably hold upright books fully across. Wood had a couple imperfections but was easy to hide with positioning. Came with a couple extra screws etc. Very wide- big enough for comic books/ coffee table books!

So aesthetically appealing for my kitchenette area of my office space. It is very sturdy as it holds dishes (a set of 4) of plates, bowls, lunch plates, glasses, coffee mugs, andddd the canisters for tea coffee and sugar.
