Looks great, really sturdy, you will stub a toe
What can I say I looks great, is solid and does not make any noise if you toss and turn at night. If you get one of the bigger sizes Queen, King, etc, it is not the easiest to put together alone, but it is do able. I suggest 2 people though. It makes things easier and will not take you 4 hours to put together that way. Also the box is heavy for the king size so best of luck there.Now I should also mention that part of the support is a solid piece of black wood, probably particular board with a laminate coating but solid enough, that connects the side boards and is very close to the edge of the bed. So if you are walking along to close to the bed and are not careful you will stub your toes, possible several times, but eventually you will learn not to do that. Or at the very least to be very careful around the middle of the bed late at night.Dont worry the cast will come off eventually and you will be fine.It is a solid bed frame and does work really well.

Not sturdy
I really liked the style and price of this bed. I bought it in September 2022. However, itâs June 2024 and itâs had problems for over a year now. The metal supports quickly became bent and would give out from simply laying down or normal rolling around. This would cause a loud noise and cause the mattress to droop. So, I constantly had to lift the mattress to try to straighten the legs. They became so bent they wouldnât touch the ground so I tried to add additional supports. However, the bed was so wobbly it bent the additional supports too. Today, while just laying the bed once again made a loud noise and the outer frame support leg snapped. Shame because I liked the style of bed!

Looks great
This bed frame looks amazing. The instructions to assemble the bed was alittle off. I feel like it’s a little to expensive for the quality but so far it works great. There are some room left when placing a queen size mattress on it. The corner of my mattress is round shaped. Better if it was squared shaped mattress. But overall it looks great.

Stylish at a value price
When we opened the box and looked at all the pieces, it appeared that this bed would not be very sturdy. However, after assembling the product, it came together to form a strong, sturdy frame.Pros…very classy looking. Nice fabric, workmanship and overall design.Cons…the headboard is a bit lower than I was expecting. Our room has high ceilings and the scale is a little off. It should be fine in a typical 8-9 foot room.It might look like the holes do not line up, but tapping the frame with a mallet will align the parts to form a sturdy connection. It was a tedius process to build this bed.Overall a good looking bed …recommend with 4 stars.

Quality of product and ease of assembly.
I am super pleased with this bed frame. It is absolutely gorgeous and made of very high quality materials for a great price. It does take two people to assemble, but the directions are very easy to understand and it only took my partner and I about an hour. Great product!

It’s nice enough looking, but it’s not great. Not that compatible with their bases.
As upholstered beds go, this one is cheap, and it is budget in appearance. It looks nice enough, but it’s not going to give anyone the impresison of luxury by any means. I bought it as a surround for a Lucid adjustable base, and while it is compatible in that the adjustable bases will “sit inside” this bed just fine, it’s truly just a half-build bed sitting loose around the outside of the bases. The bed doesn’t attach in any way to the bases, and it doesn’t havthe slats, and thus no cross–bracing of any kind to give the bed rigidity or heft…to it’s basically just a headboard, a footboard, and 2 sideboards flapping in the breeze. Bump the corner with your foot, and the whole bed moves akimbo.Also, the ledge inside the bed frame that the slats attach to is just raw white wood, so it’s highly visible. You have the adjustable bed base, which is nice gray fabric, then a gap, then a brigt strip of pine sticking out of the next piece of gray fabrice covered wood. The gap is unsightly, and the unfinished, bright piece of wood is even moreso. I’m going to look into covering it with black fabric tape or just painting it or something, and try to make some brackets so the bed and the adjustable base are in some way tied to one another and will stabilize each other. Right now, it’s just like 2 separate pieces of furniture you try to keep lined up, even though one of them is way too light to stay put when it gets bumped.As the manufacturer of both pieces, it seems to me Lucid should be making them more compatible with each other. Maybe they can come up with some brackets or something.

A pretty and inexpensive bed for a guest room.Until it breaks
Another Update: I changed my stars again from 1 star to 2 stars, because I contacted Lucid, and I was completely reimbursed. I had to send photos of the broken bed, along with my proof of purchase. I was kindly sent a check. I’m grateful about that. Thank you, Lucid, for not making this more difficult.Update: This twin XL was for my guest room. It has barely been used. Itâs been slept in, easily less than a month. My son has been visiting over the holidays and he is 6 feet tall and about 195 lbs. the slats under the bed broke. He came downstairs this morning and told me that he had to put the mattress in the floor. So now Iâd give one star.Just assembled bed and itâs lovely. I donât know how well it will hold up though as it hasnât even been slept on. I included a photo because had I known before buying, I would not have gotten a 10 inch mattress. Due to its thickness, it hangs over the end/foot a bit. If the mattress had been thinner (8 inch or less) it might have tucked under the headboard a bit, and would not have hung over at the foot of the bed. Iâm sure a bed spread will cover this. Assembly was fairly simple. I have assembled a LOT of furniture and this bed had a few very minor issues. Holes did not line up well so some screws are somewhat at an angle and do not feels as secure as they maybe could. All parts were there, nothing missing. It was packaged well so that there were no scratches or damage. It is an inexpensive bed for our guest room so I am happy with it. Will it last for years with daily use? I am uncertain. Its a bit flimsy maybe.

There was a bit of confusion getting it assembled, however it got done. The middle lost under the best frame quickly bent and left no support in the centre of the frame. The frame wiggles from side tobside with every movement and feels as though it will break any day…
