Surprisingly useful amount of light output
Was needing a lighting solution for evenings on the paved area surrounding an in/ground pool. Purchased these and played with several positionings on the pool-cage to see what worked best for the solar charging and the area of light cast onto pavers once night fell. In all placements, some high, some low, the solar cells grabbed enough power to keep usable illumination running for 5 hours or more. Even when 11â above the paved surface the light on the ground was easily obvious and created a pleasantly lit border. Enough light to make walking safety but not so much as to be harsh or intrusive on social interactions nearby.

Fantastic value
Easy to install using the screws or adhesive backing (both options included). The size is as described and functions exactly as described. These are attached to our 8 foot high privacy fence and light the entire 8′ high x 8′ wide panel. The brightness and quality are better than expected making this a great value for the money. Highly recommend!

Do not stay lit more than 2 hours after full view sunny location.
After installed i was so happy with the look until they died after 2 hours. I have cameras and can see how long they lasted. My fence is in full sun all day in florida so no reason they should have died so soon. The screw holes are also so wide they land on the very edge of 4×4, some not even reaching.

Somewhat disappointing
I originally left a one-star review and said these lights were worthless. After some trial and error, that’s not entirely true, but they still aren’t worth much more than the $25 price tag. I’ve found that they are extremely picky about having precisely direct sunlight. Even mounting them so they were slightly angled away from the sun (15 degrees or so) meant they wouldn’t give more than an hour or so of light. I finally found a way to mount them so they line up perfectly with the sun’s path (for now), and they now seem to last most of the evening. Bear in mind this is with an unobstructed view of the sun from noon until sunset. I have otherâalbeit slightly more expensiveâsolar lights that stay on all night even after a cloudy day, so these are still disappointing. I’ll hold onto them for now, but only as a temporary solution until I find something better.

Started strong but then…
When I first got these, I was very excited. I wanted to put them on a block wall so I had the challenge of mounting them since any type of double stick tape or glue wouldn’t work. I ended up screwing them and that worked really good.How do they perform? At first, I was absolutely in love with them, and they looked amazing! In fact, it made the backyard look like a resort at night. The picture was taken right after putting them up. I was very happy with them for the first month or so. At first they would stay lit for several hours after it got dark outside. But, that seemed to quickly change and I noticed after about a month, that they would only stay lit for maybe an hour at most. I am so disappointed because they were not cheap. I would be happy if I could get at least 4 hours out of them each night. I would definitely not recommend these.I’ll be looking for a hard wired alternative to replace these.

Light and easy to install
I installed these across my block fence and they are the perfect balance in size, weight and illumination. Don’t expect these to do the work of a wired system, they emit enough light to be able to see where you’re stepping and add a great vibe to the space.These add a touch of luxury to our back yard at a fraction of the cost and complexity of a low voltage system.Since i was hanging these up on a block fence, I didn’t bother with using the included adhesive pads or screw mounts. They were light enough to attached with some construction adhesive. I used Gorilla Heavy Duty Ultimate construction adhesive from HD, SKU 1004237230. They are light enough not to need to be secured while the adhesive cures.
