It looks nice but you definitely get what you pay for. I knew it wasnât real wood. Itâs MDF with a laminated/plastic finish which makes it look kinda cheap if you look at it closely. The seat is hollow so not sure how long this will hold up.

Perfect for entry way/hall way! Sleek and sturdy design
This was so easy and seamless to put together: I did it on my own in about 30/45mins. Itâs light so putting it together and then staging it was a breeze.It fits perfectly in my entry hall way and is great for people to sit and put their shoes on or off.Love the black. Sleek and simple and sturdy. And I love that it had a ledge at the bottom. Iâll be using it for storage baskets. So cute, 10/10 recommend and itâs affordable! Canât beat it!

Perfect Bench but Assembly is difficult
To start- this is a 5 star product- my four star rating is because setup is truly a headache since instructions are lacking and difficult to read. They did a good job of labeling all the parts, but you may have to turn the legs around & rotate several times before you are able to ascertain which way they go since the diagram doesnât actually indicate which side is up and which side is in. I was glad I followed the directions that said, âDo not fully tighten the bolts until all parts are in placeâ because I had to take mine apart 4 times before I got it right. The slant of the legs (while beautiful) means you may need a second person to help you balance it for the first few steps while you screw in bolts. I was able to manage by myself, but it took a great deal longer than it should have to do the initial steps while balancing the frame on my knee. The parts are labeled & separated very well and it comes with extra pieces plus the screwdriver you need to install which is nice. The size & look is exactly as described and I like that the bottom self stores shoes or baskets. It is attractive and durable and works great in my entryway. I am very pleased with my purchase now that the setup is behind me.
