Saved me about $600!
I’m a DIYer, so when my 5 year-old Frigidaire Gallery microwave stopped heating, I went after it. After a couple of YouTube videos and appliance repair websites, I changed out the cheapest and easiest component – the diode – with no joy. The process of elimination then pointed to the magneton (the thing that creates the microwave energy).Bought this magnetron cuz of the reviews, and in a few minutes – we have heat!Perfect fit, good value for the money, and easy to do if you’re handy (and too damn cheap to buy a new microwave).

Great replacement part for our microwave
This replacement part saved me so much money by not buying a completely new microwave. I noticed that my deflector guard was starting to become off colored and smoke was appearing inside the microwave. Apparently we didn’t get it cleaned very well so some of the food was getting burned and actually ruined our magnetron. I bought this unit and had it replaced and reinstalled within a few hours. Perfect replacement and I haven’t had any problems with it over the last year that it has been in use.

Fixed my Frigidaire Gallery Microwave FGMV176NTD
My 7 year old Frigidaire Gallery Microwave with the Black Stainless paneling that matches our other appliances suddenly quit working. I did not feel like replacing the set. A new microwave would cost more just to match the Black Stainless aesthetic. So I looked into the possible problem and it was most likely a magnetron. This part was a match. I found a nice repair video on YouTube and swapped the parts without dying. Now the microwave works, order has been restored, and we saved some significant cash.
