Perfect size for my steps, especially the width; I have big dogs, the stairs of my house are hardwood, and my pups had a hard time climbing. I tried other brands and was not good width for my steps, these look gorgeous and are perfect for my needs

Very sharp looking and work amazing so our dogs donât slip down the stairs. Will definitely be buying more when we decide to change the Colours up. Affordable way to freshen up the entrance to the house.

Exceeded expectations
Pros: affordable, super easy to âinstallâ, nice material, arrived quickly, looks way better than expected
Cons: none yet (will report back in durability later if they do not hold up)
I bought these because my dogs were slipping down the hardwood stairs. I had done research on fancier options but I was honestly too lazy to get the measuring tape out and didnât want to spend too much money on this. I bought these expecting it to look super cheap and horrible, but at a $40 price point I wouldnât care (and I especially wouldnât care if it helped my dogs walk on the stairs easier) but these actually look pretty nice! These arrived in the evening and I had it all laid on the stairs within 5-10 min. It was soooo easy. I saw some other carpet options where it is actually a sticky adhesive and you have to very carefully install them and use other tools to make sure it looks perfect but I hated the idea of all that effort. Also those made me nervous that they would say itâs âsafe for hardwood/vinyl flooringâ but then when you take them off you are left with residue or damage. So I was really excited about these because they are not sticky at all but somehow stay in place 100%. Because these are fresh out the box in these photos you may see a couple spots in the middle where it looks like itâs popping up, well it is but itâs because thatâs where they were folded in the box upon delivery. I think that after some time being walked on it will flatten out great. I also didnât clean the stairs before installing them. If I would have vacuumed and mopped first they might not have this issue. Anywho, even with my janky install they donât move, and you wonât trip on them, but if you are suuuper observant and picky the middle bump may bug you. I love that you can easily lift them up and move them if you need to fix the alignment when installing. I think I read that you can even wash them?! Iâm nervous to try that so I may just hand wash or spot treat them if necessary.

Works great for our dog
I purchased these to help with my dog slipping on our stairs. They were so easy to install, clean easily, and prevent her from slipping. We have had them for about four months now and they are holding up wonderfully!

Renter friendly and Easy Installation
I live in a home that is close to 130 years old. The stairs are uncarpeted, and not in the greatest shape. Functional, but one of the stairs had a crack in the wood running almost the entire length of it. In addition to that, there were a couple nail heads that werenât quite hammered down all the way and sticking up just enough to stub a toe on. The nail heads in question were located along the edges, unlikely to be stepped on but still an Invitation for injury. Not to mention that socks on feet running down or up bare wooden stairs could potentially cause injury as well. As a renter my options to make changes are limited. These stair treads were an excellent solution. I did not need to cut any of them down to fit, but it was nice to have that option. The adhesive backing is light but sufficient, and adheres well enough. The lightness of the adhesive is forgiving, very easy to lift the tread back up to re-position if needed. For me, that removed any pressure or stress about getting it right the first time. Having said that, the downside of a light adhesive is that the corners of them have a tendency to pop up a little bit at times. Standing on the offending corner for a minute is all that is needed. The light gray color is as described. The treads are utilitarian, so while they arenât going to be the softest, they are soft enough on bare feet and get the job done. The built in ridges also help to remove dirt and debris. My dog had an accident on one of the treads, absolutely soaking it with urine which discolored it. After cleaning it with not even a whole lot of effort – youâd never know it ever happened. Overall, Iâd recommend this set of stair treads. Good value for the money, renter friendly and not having to purchase anything separately to hold them in place is worth its weight in gold.

Great
Love these stair treads. They feel good under my feet although they are for my senior dog. They keep her from slipping going up and down. I didnât like the look of the white trim when placed so I used a black sharpee pen and colored the trim. (Took awhile) After about 5 washes the pen wore off but I donât care anymore, they still look great and fit the purpose. I wash them about every 4-6 weeks. Definitely worth it and would purchase again.

Safety
The pads look great on the steps. They were easy to apply and stuck fairly well to the steps. There is no moving or slipping of pads. The size is perfect and they are reasonably priced.

Perfect for indoor steps
Great value for the money. Peel and stick step rugs stay put. I have used these for 10 months to prevent slip and falls on tiled steps. They are practical not fancy.

Very happy
So far I am enjoying my new stair treads. Still waiting on one to flatten on the bottom. The install was easy, just peel off the thin plastic backing. They are sticky but not adhesive so if I need to remove or replace any it’s a quick peel off. At first I was disappointed because I thought they were adhesive but the sticky back works very well. I played around with it and tried to move it with my feet and and hands it stayed put.
I have fallen down my stairs twice (and I was the one that wanted hardwood floors ð) I feel these treads will greatly improve my safety. For even more added safety you may see some clear tape in the pictures. That is see through carpet treads you can buy in different widths. I did 2 inches and folded it over each lip then placed the carpet tread on top. Very pleased so far.
