UPDATE *Taps mic* âTHIS ONE IS FOR THE FAT GIRLS.â
**UPDATE**Iâve had this frame for 2.5 years, and over the past couple of weeks my mattress has been sagging slightly, and when I moved the frame to vacuum I heard a clanging sound⦠Assumed thatâmost certainlyâI had finally broken this frame due to my weight. After I lifted the mattress to check out the damage, I was shocked to find that the center support had merely fallen off: from my most recent move, it appears that the movers didnât tighten the support center bolts when reassembling the frame! Ten minutes of realigning bars and tightening bolts, this frame remains good as new: a totally unexpected delight. Iâm updating this review laying on my mattress, once again fully supported with no sagging⦠if youâre reading this? Buy it. An exceptionally made product underscored by sustaining no damage even without the center support beam attached for a spell.(Former Review)I have elected to sleep with a mattress on the floor for the majority of the past seven years after three ill-fated moments featuring a bed frame from IKEA (particle board snapped clear through when I sat on it), one of the so called âheavy-dutyâ fold out frames (endless creaking), and my last investment in 2015 of another âheavy-dutyâ frame where the slats cracked literally on the first night.I currently weigh ~400+ pounds, and most frames cannot handle the static weight of a singular body of this mass plus the weight of a mattress due to stress points and poor manufacturing. Iâve waited a couple of months to provide feedback on this piece… let me tell you, this frame is THE ONE. 1) There is no creaking or squeaking. 2) The foundation is supported 360-degrees with welding, so the weight distribution is phenomenal. 3) The middle bar and legs have not cracked, bent, or warped (likely due to the exterior construction), and at the 30-day mark when I removed the mattress to tighten up the bolts for preventive maintenance, they had hardly loosened at all, indicating very little frame motion impact with my body weight.I live with a disability that is physically kicking my a** due to balance and coordination issues, and the ability to get in and out of bed easier and saferâvs. when the mattress was on the groundâis life changing. Itâs so much nicer to leave rehabilitative physical therapy and crawl into a bed that is higher off the floor… and not have to worry about something snapping.Donât hesitate. Assembly was a breeze… and it looks good, too.

ACTUALLY STURDY
Great sturdy bed. Doesn’t make rickety noises at night or even during the roughest of activities. It was pretty easy to assemble, you just have to really read the directions before starting and lining up the pieces before screwing them together helps a lot. We’ve had this bed for a few months now and haven’t had to tighten things. It’s low to the ground, but even without a box spring is at a great height to flop onto after a long day.It feels really strong, my partner and I can move on the bed with our cat and dont feel the bars bending or giving at all. I’m saying this because both of us together are just under 500lbs.This is a great bed for larger people, or people who are going to be rough with the bed. I did a lot of research before hand and couldn’t be happier.I will update if anything changes. It’s also just like the picture and looks great.

A sturdy and appealing steel bed frame
Product was somewhat easy to assemble. The assembly drawings are a little confusing at first, but just connect like numbers to each other and use the hardware they gave you. After we got going, it took about 30 minutes to get it all together. And you should have someone helping you, as there are some parts of the assembly that are a bit awkward to do by yourself. The box it came in was SO heavy. But it was easy to open and catalog all the parts before we got started. And once you get the frame together, it’s actually very light and easy to move around. I was surprised by that. Make no mistake though. This thing is indeed made of steel, so it is very sturdy. I have also found that the adhesive strips to keep the mattress in place work very well.Overall, I am pleased with this purchase. I was looking for a standard bed frame, but not the traditional metal ones that really have no eye appeal. This one fits my needs and the price was good. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a similar product.

Updated after a year
This is an overall amazing bedframe and very easy to put together. This is definitely made for bigger people, together my partner and I weigh close to 600lbs and I am in bed most of the time due to health issues and it has still held up pretty well, even after some *activities*. However I do have a few complaints. One of the slats repeatedly comes out of place and is just a pain to put back in however that’s an easy enough fix. My other complaint is if you have hardwood floors it will move around so you will need to get a rug or some nonslip pads. Another small complaint is it is definitely not made for mattresses with springs, everytime we move it sounds terrible I definitely wouldn’t recommend it if you have a mattress with springs or don’t plan to get a spring free mattress. Overall this is a great bed frame and it is sturdy even with a slat popping out I can still lay on it these are just some small easily fixed irritants.Update. This bed frame was great, however one night one of the screws broke off and it became very wobbly we tightened the screws every week and it still became wobbly and unsturdy. Thankfully it was still under warranty and they sent us a whole new bedframe. I did end up fixing the slats with some JB weld. We still love this bedframe even a year later.

Sturdy but requires periodic tightening because of activity.
