The trundle bed only allows you to fit 4” height. If you want the two beds to match and be like one king bad both mattresses would need to be a thin 4” thick at the most. And with that the main mattress slides under the headboard’s gap and doesn’t stay put. Always see the slats under the bed stick out. I love the concept but hate that the trundle doesn’t allow for a thicker regular mattress.

I have been wanting a daybed for a while now and finally bought this one. I really like it but it smells like manure . It has a funny smell since I opened it . It’s been up for a couple weeks and it still smells. Very easy to put together and the mattresses I got are great for our guests.
