Love using this to decant water from my blue âcatchâ barrel to my âfill the watering canâ mini tank. Just make sure you get your inlet and outlet the right way around. You know very quickly if you havenât. ð

There were no instructions on how to prime or use the drill pump. Easy to use once you work out how to ‘prime’ the pump. However, the amount of water from the ‘dump’ hose was just a trickle, despite two different drills being, (to try a different power), the flow rate was very poor. After a short time of just ten minutes it just stopped !! It did work again after a rest but again stopped after another ten minutes. – Not what I expected following my research of reviews and youtube videos promoting that it can empty small swimming pools etc. You live and learn !! Avoid this product unless you only have a small bowl to empty and lots of time to wait for it to empty……….

Best drill pump by far!!!
I’ve purchased several drill pumps from box stores, and online and it seems that they work great the first time and then never really work again after that. I’ve tried every possible way to preserve them so that they would function later.. but nothing really works. I’ve taken them a part and found that the shaft has broke loose inside on the impeller.This pump however is durable and has worked several times so far, I purchased a second one just to have a back up because when I need a drill pump I need one now. I went to a local box store and paid twice as much for a pump than this one.. it worked great, put it away using the method it mentioned in the package instructions.. went to use it a few months later and it’s junk.I’d recommend this pump all day!! I have used the first one I bought off and on for about a year now, it works everytime!

This thing is a life saver!
Post-flood, our plumbing has not been reliable and we have not been able to flush toilets or drain bath tubs. With this pump, I can easily and quickly drain our baths out our window. It’s not glamorous, but we can keep ourselves clean now. This is the best purchase I’ve made in a while.

We used this to drain two 55 gallon drums of water. Very cost effective, quick and was the perfect solution. I was surprised how fast the water poured out. My son operated the drill and he said his hand was getting a little tired holding the button on the drill. We used an old drill so maybe some of the newer ones have a different “on” setting. But with 110 gallons of water, I feel it’s to be expected. A few drops of black grease/tar type stuff came out the other end but certainly wasn’t a deal breaker. I’ll definitely be using it again and highly recommend the product.

Works very well
I couldnât believe how well this little pump works. I used a 3/4 inch cordless drill in one hand annd the pump in the other and in no time the task was complete. It is well worth the money .

Exceeds expectations
I literally expected this to either not work at all or burn up after running for a few minutes. To my pleasant surprise, it ran non-stop for a full hour without issues. There are a couple of caveats though. 1) You must screw this down on a board to serve as an anti-torque base so that your drill doesn’t flip over. 2) You must disassemble it and lube it with silicone grease before and after you use it. 3) If you don’t use it somewhat regularly, the rubber impeller is likely to take a “set” and not work well. This is no substitute for real submersible pump, but it’s very handy in a pinch if you set it up correctly.
