Quiet and Effective Fan
My bedroom is nice and cool since getting this fan and it is quiet and good. I love it!

Beautiful design, quiet operation, woefully inadequate airflow
It’s beautiful, the light is unobtrusive, but insufficient as the sole source of light in a room so anticipate having floor or table lights elsewhere in the room. The fan is quiet, at low speed it is about to silent as a fan can get, which is what I need to be able to sleep, but at that speed, there is virtually no airflow. At medium speed, the airflow is only adequate if the windows are wide open and the ambient temperature is not that hot (well under 80 deg F.) And it’s not silent, just pretty quiet at medium speed. At high-speed, the fan provides good ventilation but while relatively quiet is far from silent. So at high or medium speed, it’s good anywhere but a bedroom where you need to sleep. Unfortunately, I bought it so I could have good silent ventilation at night while I slept. I would return it but I painted it light grey to match my ceilings (before I installed it or tested the airflow – dumb of me.) I don’t think Minke would appreciate me returning a fan painted a custom color. Guess I’m stuck running the AC on low at night. Customer service is good. The wall control went out after a month and they replaced it right away without any hassle.

CEILING FAN
WANTED BECAUSE OF LED LIGHT .LOOKS GREAT RUNS GOOD SLIGHT HUM.LITTLE HARD TO PUT TOGETHER .I WOULD BUY AGAIN.

Fair product but terrible customer service at Minka
Overall I am pleased with the fan. The light is too blinding bright and when dimmed probably not enough light. We were doing to order 4 of these…but decided to try one before order all. We had issues with the housing being bent…called Minka only to be rudely advised not their problem. We were told to return the fan where we purchased it. Instead we were able to bend it too stop it from rubbing. As I mentioned I am pleased but I am not sure I would recommend Minka. You will be screwed if you need customer assistance from Minka. They definitely do not deserve the business. Shame on them for hiring terrible rep’s in customer service.
