I had this fan in my previous home and treated the glass shade to remove the amber color. I liked the fan enough to buy it again, but I’m having a hard time removing the amber color & it would be nice to have the choice of clear glass or a white color. I read some comments about difficult installation. I had a contractor do the installation. He recommended the fan and said installation is not a problem. If you want the darker amber shade color, this fan is fantastic! Great quality!

This fan is so perfect we bought two, one for our den and one for the bedroom. It is quiet and doesn’t hang low into the room. Our last bedroom fan wouldn’t allow my husband to change his pullover shirts without hitting his arms on the fan blades. Not so with this fan. It looks great, it works great and the company we bought it from has the best customer service ever! You couldn’t go wrong with this fan.
