Beautiful fan, makes a statement!
Very high quality fan! The blades are not actual wood. I replaced the original tan colored opal glass with the white one which is part number GF803.Extremely quiet, the LED light is extremely bright and dimmable, the fan moves a lot of air!

By: These bullets worked great for my all wood shutters I just put up on the house. Put a soft cloth over the bullets and lightly tap them into the wood. They look beautiful. I love the hammered look of the metal looks great!

Absolutely gorgeous
I originally went to lampsplus.com but reaped Amazon sold the same fan with faster deliver. This fan is EVERYTHING! Absolutely gorgeous. Pictures do it no justice. The fan is not only gorgeous but it gets up and moves! The airflow is great. I only have one complaint. The light is more of a soft dimmer light. Iâm going to see if I can switch to an LED light for more brightness. If you like the soft light then no worries itâs good and you can still see everything around you itâs just more dim and soft. I do like the 6 speeds on the fan control and you can dim the light up and down with the fan control. The fan is also very very quiet when on at no matter what speed. Itâs a pricey fan butttttt you get what you pay for so Iâm happy!!!

Beautiful Quiet Fan, Need Minka Lavery Fan Control System Minka Aire WCS213 with it, else won’t work
Fantastic Fan. Beautiful to look at. Quiet. Installer put it together and it took about 45 minutes. It’s sturdy, has wood fans and moves a lot of air. I got the one with the LED light – not sure why Amazon does not provide extended warranty on the fan with the Led light but does provide warranty on the fan with no LED light. In order to use the remote, you must buy the Minka Lavery Fan Control System Minka Aire WCS213, else you cannot operate the fan. Why they won’t charge you more by adding this Fan control in is beyond me. So if you just order the fan without the Control System you will be looking at the fan, and not enjoying the breeze it puts out. I had to order this fan twice, as the first one had a faulty motor and it kept on making noise every time it completed a circle. The new one that we replaced is super quiet, so the first one was faulty.

Stylish and moves air like crazy!
I just purchased this fan thru Minka (factory re furbished) for around 600. Although I only received the item and installed yesterday, it is a perfect fit for our room! SUPER QUIET!!! AND MOVES A TON OF AIR!!!?

I was extremely disappointed in the Minka Air Artemis.
I was extremely disappointed in the Minka Air Artemis. From the time the fan arrived until its returned it was one disaster after another. After paying to have the fan installed it did not work properly and the light did not work at all. I contacted Minka and they told me that the problem was in the light module or the receiving module. When the parts arrived, I had to pay to have them installed. After the new parts were installed the fan still did not work and the light also did not work. I had to pay to have the fan taken down so I could return it. I did not want to try another Minka because the installation prices were killing me. I do not know if my situation was an isolated case, but I am now leery of buying a Minka fan.

This would have been 5 star but the paint on the down rod scratches very easily during installation. This is a well made fan is easy to install and moves a lot of air even at low speeds.

Worth the price
This item is a bit pricey, so I checked out the reviews. Some reviews were very picky which is accurate in those situations. In my case, I must say, it is a beautiful, unique fan and is worth the money if that is your price range. It works form the remote, so you cannot wire it to switch the fan and light separately. The blades are plastic with a wood-look finish, however when mounted on the ceiling, you cannot tell that. The blade design makes the blades more secure than most ceiling fans. Also, the size and design of the blades makes this fan move a great volume of air. On the high setting, it is like a wind tunnel. I live in Florida so the ceiling fan has a practical application. I think you will be happy with the purchase.
