Prefect twin bed
This bed is so adorable and such great quality! I ordered the twin bed in the ivory oak color and it looks just as shown in the listing photos. It arrived quickly and was package well so that there was no damage. It was incredibly easy to put together and I was able to manage it myself.

BEAUTIFUL, but perhaps overkill on design for stability. Once put together, it is a 5-star item!
I LOVE this bed! I have purchased at least 5 beds in the last decade and this is by far the best! It isn’t perfect, but it is wonderful!(Skip this paragraph if you don’t need my ranting about modern beds, and move on to the next paragraph about THIS bed). What are modern bed manufacturers thinking these days? That we all want to basically sleep on the floor and have our mattresses slide around on platforms? Not me! All modern beds are too low. I like to sit on the bed without having my knees reach up to my chest. Low beds are uncomfortable to get in and out of. All now seem to be platform beds. Maybe that’s the “in” thing, but mattresses slide on the platform, and you just can’t make a tidy bed on a platform. Those duvets, bedpreads, and sheets need to be tucked in somewhere if you want it neatm, tidy, and modern. Just sliding everything between the platform and mattress DOES NOT WORK! It is messy! I have looked for a decent bed for over a decade and have yet to find one that works for me. New beds also have endless supports under them for stability. Somehow, in the distant past, manufacturers were able to address people’s weight without adding ugly supports that either look bad on the sides, or make it impossible to store items under the bed.THIS BED! It is the closest thing to a decent bed I have found online in ages! It is both beautiful and SOLID. The side rails are in one piece! Bonus, why can’t all beds be made this way? And it is REAL wood! The description says MDF wood, but the side rails, and legs are sturdy solid wood. Only the upholstered footboard and headboard are made of MDF. The mattress sits about 2 inches inside the side rails which allows you to tuck the bed linens in without it looking messy like regular platform beds. The lighter fabric on the dark wood makes for a nice contrast design. I’m not a huge fan of boucle fabric. I wish it was linen, tweed or almost anything else. But it does look good. The ivory boucle fabric picks up dust or stains extremely easily… I’m going to scothgaurd it soon.It arrives in two boxes. You need to assemble it. At first I thought, “Hey, this is so easy”! Connecting the headboard, footboard, and side rails are not difficult. You’ll need a decent screwdriver. But then I got to the bed slats. Holy cow! That was a challenge and a half! The slats are STURDY and all connected together by fabric. Once the bed frame is put together, you need to unroll the slat assembly inside the bed frame, screw 4 legs to the slat assembly, and FIGHT with the velro that keeps everything in place along the bed rails. Get your skinny friend to help because this part of the assembly is AWKWARD! After you put it together this far, you will appreciate how sturdy the bed truly is… but you will probably have used every 4-letter word you know (several times) to get this far. Then you are looking at about a million screws to screw the slat assembly to the side rails. Complete OVERKILL! I didn’t do any of that. The bed is infinitely more stable than most without taking the extra time and hassle to do that part.I really love the bed, and would give it 5 stars at this point. But already I need to move it to another room. Just the thought of wrangling the slat assembly again makes me cringe. I’m counting my luck stars that I never did that last million-screw step of screwing the slat assembly to the frame. I’m a restless, no GYMNASTIC sleeper, but I still find that last step completely unnecessary.This bed truly is a 5-star item, but the assembly made me knock it down to 4. If I’d had done that last “million-screw” step I might have considered lowering the rating further, but I really and truly LOVE this bed! I think this is one case where the manufacturer went above and beyond on designing for stability, maybe a step too far.

Bed is cute
This bed is easy to construct, cute, and sturdy. The posts seem to be made of real wood. I found no quality or construction issues. I did not have to install the slats because I had my own base.
